Irish Insight said Sheppard was a done deal. May end up that way but sure doesn't seem done yet today much less yesterday :whoknows:

For real though one of these is not like the others. Stucky has been an on field coach for one year. This feels like one of those relationship-builder interviews where you are considering a guy for a future opening, not the current one.

Shephard was on campus yesterday per Loy. Someone may have been jumping the gun. It definitely does not seem like a done deal because Wiggins hasn't even interviewed yet, plus there is the Stucky news.

I do think pretty much everyone expects it to be Shephard though. He seems like the runaway favorite.

Common practice, and in this instance, good idea considering the staff he's currently a part of at Baylor. Stuckey played at Clemson and hung around in the NFL for a bit. Then he was a GA at Clemson for a couple of years before landing Baylor.

He was a two time All ACC First Team WR and has experience in the League. Solid resume.

Why do you have a hard on for this? His source says it's so. Either he's right or wrong, neither of those options really matter at the end of the day. It took ND 3 or so days from the initial leak to announce Freeman and that was an internal hire with considerably less hoops to jump through.

The "Tiers of Poster" sounds a lot like Scientology. A lot.

Dale and BobbyMac are out here reading Thetan levels on their e-meter. Lax is a Captain in the Sea Org. Whiskey is clearly David Miscavige. LL is Tom Cruise's handler.

It's all so obvious now.

I guess that depends on your definition of done deal. I'm assuming you feel a done deal is when the contract is signed and the hiring announced. Irish Insight may know that they have come to an agreement and all that is left is for the George O'Leary process to be completed before he can sign the contract. Would "Both parties have come to an agreement" make you feel better?

LOL, I don't think there are any different opinions on what done deal means.

A little worried we through our hat in on Wiggins and that we have neglected the possibility that we might miss.
