When I feel like I have a credible source(s), we tweet it out. That’s literally the entire point of the whole thing.

Regarding the Marcus Freeman situation, it wasn’t a “I know a guy, who knows a guy” scenario. We had multiple sources on that front. Regarding Shephard, I’m very confident now. If something changes and we end up being wrong, I’ll be the first to admit it.

I’m not doubting that their are posters on here, like Lax, who have valid sources. I don’t always have a source for everything that happens within the Gug walls. But when I do, I share it.

Irish Insight is a baby, compared to the other sites that are established. This started as a hobby to pass time during Covid. Trying to break news gets our name out there. Sitting on information doesn’t help us get recognition right now.

I'm listening to the ISD Power Hour podcast. They're talking about the Hiestand hire and I'm seeing it in a whole new light. I was already in favor of it but these guys are making it seem like the smartest move ever. Some good points they made:

1. It's not in Harry's nature to sell himself. But it absolutely is in Freeman's and Watts's nature to sell Harry. He has not only put a ton of dudes into the league, they are dudes that are multi-year starters/pro bowlers.

2. Quenton Nelson is right down the road. Was he gonna come back to campus for a big recruiting weekend/visit because Quinn or Kelly asked him to? Nah. But would he come back for Harry. Yeah, in a heartbeat. So would most of his NFL guys, because they love Harry and appreciate that he helped them get where they are today.
