ND Bowl Predictions 2011

1.) I want to finish 9-3 with a big win over Stanford... What bowl do you guys feel like we might land if we do go 9-3? I have no clue...

2.) If we go 8-4 thats one game better than last yr., and looks to land us against Florida st. in the Champs bowl... I'm happy with that still feel like we should be 10-2 tho....

3.) That will be a home game for them so all the dirty south ND fans buy a ticket take the ride.. We need to do some carpool..

I thought that Champs Sports was our destination this year no matter what not that it seems pretty clear that we wont be going to the BCS but I could be wrong as exciting as the bowl season can be sometimes it confuses the hell out of me.

i would like a 9-3 reg. season with a chance at 10 wins with the bowl.

Now i know it's a huge debate if we beat Stanford, but just for fun IF we do go 9-3 not saying we wil just what if..... What Bowl do we land?

No with the realignment of conferences, Notre Dame went from going to the Gator Bowl to the Champs Sports Bowl.

If Notre Dame goes 10-3 that would include a bowl win. So I assume you mean if ND beats Stanford and end the regular season 9-3, what bowl do you think ND would go to?

A lot of crazy things need to happen for ND to make a BCS bowl, not out of the relm yet. They just need a lot of help from teams above them, by losing. As of now, I would say it is close to 95% certain they go to the Champs Sports Bowl.

Nope. The Gator Bowl changed its conference affiliations last year. No more Big12/Big East/Notre Dame vs. ACC. It's now SEC vs. Big 10.

Champs Sports Bowl took on the Big East/ND affiliation.

No, I think they could have went last year with 7 wins but the Champs Bowl can only pick them once every four years so they passed in case they had a better year this year. Which they have and will be picked this year.

If we beat BC, and pull the upset at Stanford we could land around 16-20 in the BCS rankings which would be nice... I really would love to see ND win a better bowl game ..Champs i can be happy with 0-2 start wow what a team thi yr... Go Irish..

Champs Sports is a sealed deal. Whether we lose 2 games or win both, that will be our destination.

In other words, what's the full range of possible non-BCS venues for ND, given the tie-ins? Aren't there better bowls than the Pinstripe Bowl or Belk Bowl equivalent a good ND team can go to?

Believe it's Champ Sports then Sun Bowl/Pinstripe then remainder

Not sure how it will shake out. I think we should be ending whatever contract the former AD set up in the next year or so

It's ridiculous that Notre Dame couldn't be invited to the Cotton Bowl as an at-large instead of the #3 or #4 SEC team. It'd be nice to have some more options available just below the BCS level.

You know who I really wanna play?Texas I know we could beat them and the way they recruit It wont be that way for long. Screw Florida State I have seen them play they are year or two away from being good agian. Let's whoop Texas while we can cause when they are scheduled to play us in few years they will not be this bad I promise you.
