This is where I am at. Had our defense not given up the FG against Stanford, everything pointed to Oklahoma making the playoffs over us with identical records because of how overrated they were.

We had one common data point for our teams----Texas. It was a joke that Oklahoma was even in the conversation last year for potentially going over an Irish team with a Stanford win. In retrospect, it's pretty clear that OSU should have gotten the nod over the Sooners.

Absolutely. Houston's going undefeated if they win this game unless you think Louisville will beat them in Houston in Nov.

OU can lose 2 to TX, TCU, OSU.

I'm just looking for ways ND can get in with a loss.

My guess is with Houston being 13-0, ND would have to be 12-0 to get in over them and the other 1 loss P5 champs

The Big Twelve would be stupid not to add Houston to their shitty league. Houston would probably win that conference this year. This Houston team is not some overachieving team like Boise State was for years, they have legit meant high end power 5 talent.

Houston looked really good. I was very impressed with their WR's. Tons of dynamic catches. They have great size. Also their D has some studs and play stout at all levels. Oklahoma looks very depleted talent wise compared to last year but they are still a good team. Houston was just better today. Oklahoma has really good RB's and a pretty good QB. They just didn't get much pressure on the QB and couldn't stop those Houston WR's.
