Not so close anymore, but the Clemson punter either decided to fake punt on his own, or made some mental mistake and initiated a fake punt in Clemson territory that failed and led to a quick UNC TD.

I think 2 or 3 less breaks (of bones) and ND is 12-0.

UNC would have still had to have a lot go right to tie but that call wow was worse then the duke/Miami game.

This^.....What I think needs to be looked into his how much money if any is paid out to conference employees based on bowl payouts. If referees are included in these payouts or bonuses, then there is definitely a complete conflict of interest with having referees employed by the conference. This is especially true for non-conference games (like ND vs Stanford). I don't think its unfair to question the integrity of these officials depending on the amount of $$$ they stand to lose if one of their teams does not make the CFP or major bowl.
