Postgame Thoughts:
1. When will Love's name be mentioned in the Heisman race? Kid is special.
2. Carr is not playing like a freshman on the field.
3. Play Aneyas Williams more- ND can't redshirt him, he is a playmaker, sneak him in with the first team.
4. Yo ND, let's kick it; did we find our kicker for the rest of the year?
5. 0 penalties.
6. The LB's had a great game yesterday, KVA keeps getting better & better and Ausberry couldn't be stopped.
7. Respect, honor, tradition- ND/Navy is a great college football rivalry.
8. Keep going 1-0.

Go Irish ☘️

As much as I would love it, he has the swag...the blue chip team...and the highlights. But he lacks Heisman production. Before anyone boos and throw tomatoes, go look at the 3 RBs that won it in the last 25 years.

Here’s my hope w/ A. Williams. He has bought into Seider’s philosophy of only playing 2 RBs. He knows most true frosh RB don’t get to play a key role on CFP teams like ND last season. So based on the RB Coach flip, he looks at this year as his true frosh year & last season as his true Sophomore b/c he knows that Love & likely JD are moving on to the NFL making him a feature RB next year w/ Young or James. That’s my hope.
I hope he stays and runs as pissed off as he did last night. He's not Love or Price, but that's a back that can hurt defenses in a bunch of different ways...

I actually thought Braxton Woodson looked really good, his receivers just suck. Worth a flyer for a P4 team for sure. Big, athletic, and solid arm.
Do people transfer out of Navy these days?

Watching some tape of Navy. DBs cannot tackle worth shit. Love and Price will have a field day vs these clowns. They just bounce off the NT St RB. Arm tackles would be an improvement over this. And those 260 lb lineman and the 210ish LBs are going to get buried by or OL.
You were right. We can't read too much into romps over teams that are athletically outclassed.
You’re correct. Blue cheese and ketchup are both F tier condiments.

Blue cheese tastes like fermented asshole and ketchup is for 7 year olds.
Ketchup is just a simple form of barbecue sauce. Once I learned that you can put BBQ like Jack Daniels Old number 9 on a burger, I never went back to ketchup. I think the ketchup bottle in my fridge is 10 years old.

Ketchup is good with french fries and some other forms of fried potato. That’s about it.

Anybody else get frustrated when Denbrock runs the backs into defensive fronts that know what's coming (along with the entire planet)? It happened last week at BC and again last night. Why no misdirection or do something a little different? I'm no football expert but we've seen this story for years and I simply don't get it.

The first 3 quarters were probably shittiest weather I’ve watched a game in. Cold rain is the absolute worst. Turning into a snow globe in 4th was pretty magical after that.

Super super impressed by our crowd as well. 100% packed until half - still 80% full for most of the 4th too. SEC schools the students would have packed it in to go party.

Aloli Gilman did and he’s been in the league around 5 years now and counting.
Yeah I remember, and it was a whole thing. What I'm wondering is if outbound transfers from Navy are more common now, common enough that a Navy backup QB with no clear path to the NFL would do it for "a flyer" of a shot to start at some lower-level P4. Because historically enrolling at the Naval Academy has been sort of a multi-year commitment, and probably not one exited lightly.

There's always a few that enter the portal in the off-season. Not all leave to go to a new team, tho.

You can check different years and where the player ended up at that link.

He's a junior so he can't leave, has to pay back three years of tuition. No penalty if you leave in the first two.

Exiting a service academy is actually fairly easy during the first two years. You only incur a service obligation after starting the 3rd academic year.

The multiple Bush Pushes by the Navy offense was too much excitement for me to handle.

Ausberry, KVA, Bowen were all you could ask.

The Time of Possession domination in the fourth quarter was absolutely glorious, too.

Carr looked very sharp.

Great bounce back after BC.

Does anybody have photographic evidence of the "snow art" made by the Navy managers on the field postgame? Was just referenced on IB.
