Things are expected to get underway around 9 am ET, as Norfolk (Va.) Norview three-star defensive end Derrick Eason is supposed to announce his final decision, although it come come even earlier that morning. Eason is committed to North Carolina State, but all signs point toward him flipping to Notre Dame at that time.

Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep five-star offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere is expected to announce is decision at 10 am ET on ESPN. The elite prospect has a group of finalists that include Notre Dame, Alabama, Florida, Ohio State and Michigan. Petit-Frere will likely tell the schools his decision tonight or tomorrow and go public on Wednesday.

It will be Notre Dame or UCLA for Mission Viejo (Calif.) high school four-star offensive tackle Jarrett Patterson. The west coast standout will likely inform the coaches of his decision on Monday or Tuesday and go public on Wednesday at 10 am ET.

Look for a decision around 12 pm ET from Anaheim (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star linebacker Solomon Tuliaupupu. Arguably the top prospect at his position, Tuliaupupu will choose between USC, UCLA and Notre Dame. All signs point toward the Trojans keeping him in-state.

Washington (DC) HD Woodson four-star cornerback, Noah Boykin is expected to choose from Notre Dame and Florida at 11:30 am ET. Ohio State and Penn State made things interesting down the stretch, but most expect him to ink with the Gators on Wednesday barring a major surprise.

Washington (DC) St. John’s College three-star cornerback DJ Brown will pick between Notre Dame, Northwestern and Cal on Wednesday at 2:30 pm ET, although a public announcement could come a little earlier than that. The Fighting Irish remain in great shape to land him.

Zebulon (Ga.) Pike County three-star running back C’Bo Flemister is committed to Georgia Tech, but a flip to either Notre Dame or Tennessee is expected. He’ll announce his decision at 5:45 pm ET, but says he’ll sign early and send in his paperwork. I believe something could come out prior to his evening announcement and the expectation is that Notre Dame lands his signature.

As it stands now, the final announcement details for New Orleans (La.) McDonogh 35 four-star wide receiver Lawrence Keys III remain unknown. He’ll choose between Notre Dame, Texas and SMU on Wednesday, but the exact time isn’t known quite yet. The Fighting Irish are the heavy favorites in this recruitment.

Keys seems like he should’ve committed by now but hopefully he wants to enjoy the announcement and all that goes with it. I like NDs chances but there’s a small %age of me that can’t get SMU out of my mind. Why were they in the hunt?

Those 3 and an OL were the most important. Would be shocked if we don't land Brown, C'Bo, and Keys. I'm not going to say more for fear of jinxing it.

Pretty meh on our OL haul this year. I know we're suppose to love the ones we're with, but big let down from the last 4-5 years. Normally we have 2-3 top 20 if not top 10 position guys. This year.... 40s.... Hope 2019 turns out better but haven't seen any top 20 OTs hot on us. A few warm OGs, but that's all. I'm far from an expert, but seems like OL recruiting is in a lull, and I don't think it's because we lost HH.

At least Patterson was 25.

a few sites went neg i believe. ISD pulled back on their neg outlook though. maybe it will happen, but i'm not holding my breath. generally where there is smoke...

Biggest concern of the roster is OL depth. Terrible time to land the worst OL class in 6 years. All I can say is the really good prospects we have better pan out and never get injured.

Wr’s and safeties our worthless without getting it done in the trenches.

Every year you need to land 1-2 guys you know are going to be studs . This year I don’t see anyone ever starting unless they have to due to injury. Hoping we get Patterson and Dirksen develops well and prove me wrong

I really believe that Dirksen is highly underrated. Just because he went to a smaller school in rural Ohio, everyone seems to be counting him out. Watching him on film, kid is a stud. He also has the size to excel at the college level. Not saying he will start as a freshman, or even a sophomore, but I really think he will be a name we are talking about down the road. Just my 2 cents as a former high school Oline coach.

Quinn Carroll and John Olmstead are the most offered OT's in the country. They are the only OT's with more than 30 FBS offers.

Screw the R&R industry when it comes to these guys, listen to the guys handing out scholarships. More than half of the guys ranked above them are guaranteed OG's in college anyways.

Had no idea we lead for Carroll. Awesome if we can nail that down.

# of offers can be misleading too though. Guys that are studs but in-state locks (or assumed) won't get tier 2 offers some other guys do. Guys that are 5 star with a history of camping at Bama/OSU/etc and are assumed leans don't always get tier 2 offers to fill up their profile. Offers and ratings/rankings feed off of each other to an extent IMO. But why do player ratings go down when players commit to ND?
