Except he's a teenager. He's not going to think this through with a clear mind. Even if he's aware of Saban's tactics, he's probably thinking it would never happen to him. Even parents get caught up in the excitement. Mom and dad are probably running around telling everyone that Alabama wants their son to play for them.

USC has added Jay Tufele, DT, Levi Jones, LB, and Austin Jackson, OT today. Jackson was expected. Jones was a surprise (Fla State was favored).
Trojans are at twenty-one and can take two more (two blueshirts from last year count towards this year's class, making twenty-three.)

USC is expected to add Joseph Lewis, WR and Greg Johnson, Ath to this class.

Pac 12 and SEC recruiting rules differ on totals for the class. Pac 12 teams cannot sign more than the 25. SEC teams are limited to twenty-five unless they would fall short of eighty-five, and then they could take more until they reach that number. Even with this '17 class, USC will not make eighty-five.

However, USC could "sign" blueshirts, who could walkon in the fall, earn one of those remaining scholarships, but they would count to the next class.
