IIRC, according to Mr. Bridgewater, he can't be suspended because he is not an employee of the school (or district/whatever). He does it for the kids. Says that he will go back to doing it from the bleachers like he used to.

Definitely agree, but I respect a middling P4 program for swinging for the fences. Can't deny that they've pushed their chips all in the past 1-2 years.

Texas Tech people love their football, and if you've got a bunch of money and want a seat at the table during the next realignment, you gotta be willing to spend.

Agree. Every kid that gets paid by Texas Tech is one less going to UGA, Bama, OSU, Oregon. We might occasionally get burned by this sort of recruit too but I doubt it will be as often as those schools.

Agreed. I do have to say that if they get Guyton, they’ll have two of Bubba Frazier’s teammates committed. I sure hope he isn’t considering jumping for the bag too

Well they did get Guyton. Until they start shitting in our bed, I can't say I'm upset at them pulling top talent away from other top dogs like UGA, OSU, Bama, Texas, etc. But the second I see us lose a recruit with a top 4 of Notre Dame, Stanford, Home State U, and Texas Tech I'll get a little upset
