Going to be fascinating to see what happens when the first SEC school tries processing a kid who signs in June before their senior season.

I am not sure the NCAA thinks, period. I do like the idea of the summer signing day. Some kids may just want it over, but, as someone said, nothing is binding anyway. Curious if a kid like Guerby would have committed and signed at a June/July signing day last year? He seemed totally disinterested in the recruiting process, and it seemed like his disinterest is why he seemed to not be making his pick.
I'm sure they don't. I'm not sure why there is a need for more than one signing period? Might cut down on a lot of the behind the scenes crap with NIL's.

Of a bigger concern, we're going to lose a lot of kids because MF can't put Snickerdoodles in their room.

They'll have to work on rules and operations of it, but I called Nebraska a sleeping giant in 2023 and their fanbase is ready to roll, seething. This is the type of thing I hope a ND fan does in addition to FUND. It's no surprise Nebraska flipped a 5 star QB from Georgia, they mean business going forward. No they will not be great immediately, but they're setting themselves up for the new era.

The FUND would be freed up quite a bit if, for ex, ND fans could be like "don't worry about Deuce, we'll take that one".

This is a monumental shift in the recruiting industry. If it wasn’t for some loyalty to Prister and O’Malley, I’d be unsubscribing. Recruiting intel has been lacking since Loy went national

Wonder how much $ it took to bag the Fong..

Lacking is putting it nicely. Without Loy doing his occasional pop ins and "what I'm hearing" the actual recruiting intel is almost non-existent.

Sinclair does a really good job with interviews and recaps, but his intel has been severely lacking so far.

A local smaller private college (Birmingham Southern) is closing at the end of May after 100+ years in existence……I’m guessing that is where the rumor started because it is a 192 acre campus with all the facilities that a school would need.
