Saw Journey and Def Leppard at The Forum on Saturday. If you appreciate drummers, Steve Smith's solo was sick. His sticking is incredible!!!! Here is a nice video from their show in Nashville.

“Operation: Mindcrime” was a great concept album. Got to see them perform it live in their prime as they opened for Metallica on the “...And Justice for All” tour. Very well done with the videos giving it the feel of a movie.

Saw them twice. Once around 1970 when they were pretty unknown and were opening for King Crimson. I was amazed at the vocals for the entire band. They stole the show.

About 7-8 years ago I saw they were coming back to Indy at local honky tonk bar. Probably one last hurrah. lol Tickets were $5. The wife and I decided to go. It was all original members and their vocals hadn't changed. Jim Dandy was Jim Dandy. Far and away, the best bargain for the money I ever spent on a concert.

Watched "Motown 60" last night. They featured Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder with Ke-Yo, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Pentatonix and others then closed with Diana Ross. It had some good moments and some take it or leave it moments.

Even with most of the Temptations and Four Tops gone to Motwon in the sky, I was surprised they didn't feature their songs except for "My Girl".

We have envisioned having boys for so long, and genetically it seems we are more likely to have them, but in my heart of hearts, I know I will father a little girl. And she will be so much like her mother. Perfect.
