Mendes is the smart bet. The late change does not disrupt things much for him psychologically or preparation wise, no pressure, favorable style advantages, he's in the prime of his career and is at the top of his division. I think Conor has a lot more pressure and other obstacles to overcome, also I think the cut was hard for Conor. He looked downright gaunt.
However, I am betting that he can and will overcome those obstacles. I think he is convinced that he cannot be beaten and despite a very tough opponent, and some real adversity I think that belief enables him to find a way to win. $0.02.

EDIT: Then dismantle Aldo.

My mind still says Mendes, and with that betting line, he's the one I'd put money on, but the way the two guys are carrying themselves, Conor seems to be more ready. At the press conference, Conor was calm, cool, and collected while Chad was trying to force the shit talk and ended up sounding corny while Conor sat there stone faced and simply stated what would take place.
