...hope this is related to the marathon bombing...it would actually make some sense...well, as much sense as could come from crazy people...

This MIT situation is out of control right now. Would not shock me if this was related to Monday's attack, if you catch my drift.

Long story short: shot a cop at MIT, carjacking, car chase, explosives being thrown from car, shootout with cops in Watertown (nearby town to Cambridge).

A suspect is down, hopefully not dead (because I want to know what happened eventually). The other suspect has jacked another car. Crazy **** happening.

That's insane...maybe cop caught him trying to do something much worse to MIT, explosives being thrown from a car which he stole is pretty crazy

the guy reporting from the scene says authorities (or someone he has talked to) have said this incident started with a car jacking, but that really doesn't make sense with the suspects having such artillery at their disposal.

That is my thinking, and now he said Homeland Security is there which could mean it is something much bigger

I think your mind can come up with a bunch of scenarios right now if these are the bombers.

Maybe I just assumed this, but I thought the carjacking occurred after the cop was shot. In my mind, I thought maybe a suspect was approached by the cop, shot the cop, jacked a car, fled, threw bombs, had a shootout....I mean, seems like could be the guys.....

Pretty crazy right now, 4 different vehicles, different suspects, gunfire, explosions.

That makes sense, I didn't start watching until after the supposed carjacking.

CNN just had footage with one of the suspects laying on the ground with police surrounding him but backing up. Possibly told police he had some kind of explosive on him and would blow it up.

did I hear that correctly? the second suspect was ordered to strip naked and then taken into custody still nude. Someone said he resembled one of the suspects from the Marathon bombing.
