Im still not counting our chickens. They've had two 5-star DL transfer out of that 2022 class. Problem is they signed six 5-star DL that class.
Shit. Hopefully by gametime we can find ourselves a QB who has some escapability.

Texas A&M v. ND should be gameday week 1 next year
Oh yeah, they already have the storylines. New HC going against the school he was DC at, where his old QB transferred to, who’s mom tells him that he sucks! Tom Rinaldi’s replacement can cover a good 30 minutes on it.

You'd think TAMU would be able to offer this considering how they've drill baby drilled money into this football program. Sounds like a very expensive shit show Jimbo had going down there. Which really isn't a surprise.

We know Elko can do the football part. Feels like they need to address some of the other stuff that goes with it. Culturally he's got some work to do in terms of improvement.

I’d take anything this kid says with a grain of salt. Not that your post in general doesnt have a lot of merit, but this particular tweet from ES doesnt mean much for me.

On the IB show last night, Driskell mentioned something about "stuff that went down" when Elko left ND for A&M which explains why he dislikes BK. Does anyone know what that is referring to? I thought he basically left for more money, was it more that he didn't want to work for BK?

I would imagine that BK was his usual asshole self when he chose to leave

The only thing I might listen to Driskell about is where to get the best deal on a pallet of Twinkies.

Elko's having a good season and is well compensated, so it's probably a longshot. But if I were Penn State or LSU and looking to make an impressive hire he'd be the one I call right after Freeman says no thanks.

Mentioned in one of the other threads I believe, but ISD stated that Elko was told by BK when hired that Kelly would be taking a larger hands on role with recruiting. That didn't happen and Elko felt lied to. Something along that vein.

Given how he handled negotiations when ND and Texas A&M wanted him, I don’t think it’s as much of a long shot as you might think.
