If anyone thought that there wasn't going to be growing pains for Freeman in his first season as a head coach, I don't really know what to say. Couple that with an uneven roster in terms of talent and depth of talent, and here they are. I think that Freeman is beginning to get his coaching legs under him, and they are coaching the offense based off of who is there. If they continue to go run heavy, and have Pyne run a lot of play action and work the seams instead of throwing outside the numbers with any degree of frequency, this is the best path to success. the defense will need to hold up their end of the bargain, of course, and the special teams will need to continue to play well.
