Get your facts straight MayDay.
Rece Davis was explaining the difference between Bill Callahan & Charlie Weis. He noted that, as of today, ND had one of the top recruiting classes & has been able to keep them in the fold despite the horrible season.
May was chomping at the bit to give his 2 cents. He noted that Weis has recruited one of the top recruiting classes the last 4 years but it hasn't translated on the field. Really? Well the last two years were top 10 material. The one before that, the '05 class, was one of the smallest in ND history. Most of the class was recruited by Willingham as CW had to play catch up after the Super Bowl.
The class before that was all on Willingham & consisted of very little elite talent. In fact, only seven players remain from that class.
You had your chance to take an easy cheap shot, MayDay & you ruined it. Of course, the only ones who will notice your misstatement is us ND fans. Let's hope the coaches set the record straight if the recruits heard May's propaganda.
It's just like politics where the liberal media twists the facts to serve their liberal agenda. So if you're a liberal & an ND fan, you know how us conservatives feel after listening to the likes of ESPN or more specifically, Mark May.
