Why would you think a billing error:LOL:? This isn't like screwing up plane tickets to go see a recruit.
It was a huge game against an elite opponent....you tell me what that compares to in your world

Haha good point, it's hard to think of an accurate comparison. If something went that wrong, I'm sure my name would be on the lawsuit and I agree that the person at the top should get some blame. But I'm just trying to say people other than Freeman clearly screwed up too. He was professional and didn't throw anyone under the bus, but it shouldn't be the head coach's job to make sure there are always 11 players on the field

It's probably more akin to the anesthesiologist screwing up the dosage and the patient waking up, or the nurse putting the 'x' on the wrong knee and you do a knee replacement on a healthy knee.

Ultimately under your responsibility, but not a task you actively ensure is done correctly each time.

I always kind of wonder what elite athletes who are 20 and engaged in high-level year-round s&c and nutrition plans think when they look at a coach like that who is yelling at them to work harder.

I haven't had a chance to watch the presser, but read Sampson's tweet about a question to MF about running up the score against GT? Was the question asked "why" he was running up the score or why he didn't try to? Seemed like an odd question. Couldn't find anything int he press about any allegations that ND was running up the score, and scoring 31 (and a late Defensive TD) doesn't seem like running up the score at all.

I think it had to do with the announcers mentioning it during the game when it was only 21-7

Got it. Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure if there was some mention of it because of the fakes on ST or something, but the offense was pretty flat in the second half and I didn't think there was any opportunity for us to even be considered running up the score. That makes more sense.
