I mean if you had to deal with ND administration on transfers + townies filing police reports because of their bruised egos I might gtfo at this point too

I think “townies with bruised egos” is literally in every city

A 5'5" loser is going to "fuck up" Marcus Freeman in a street fight? Sure.

Speaking from experience, yeah. Size matters a lot more if both parties are trained.

Freeman might be trained in wrestling or another form of mma, so the point might be moot. If Freeman is football and weight training only, he’s at a disadvantage.

I just flat out do not get how he has a job. At the HS where I coach if I did 10% of what I've heard this guy has done I would be fired. A coach "trash talking" opposing players / parents is fireable on its own.

Brother, I'm also around wrestling coaches a lot. Most of them are basically overgrown children who have never learned any sort of emotional regulation. Many (not all) will basically act on every impulse during a match, from yelling at refs (typical of many sports), trash talking wrestlers, and screaming at other coaches from their corner of the mat. I've seen them throw foam challenge bricks like they are throwing a rock through a damn concrete wall.

For as much discipline as the sport requires, it often produces some weird ass adults (parents, former wrestlers, both).

Seems like a private matter. Kind of sounds like he pushed him and got loud. This isn’t all that unusual. Kind of stupid cops were even called.

College football used to be my favorite sport to follow the whole thing of. Michigan getting off Scott free for cheating their way to a championship and the ESPN/SEC/ACC kabal’s bullshit with the playoff have permanently damaged my interest in the sport and I now only care about ND and will not watch any other games probably ever again. If (and obviously it’s a massive if) this turns out to be bad enough that ND has to fire Freeman, I can’t imagine even doing that much. Sucks, feels like a major hobby of mine has been completely poisoned

Is this guy a coach at like a bunch of schools/programs? His coaching camp or whatever is in New Carlisle which is like 20 minutes west of SB.
