Manti on offense?

After seeing the Bell-Dozer fecal matter being spread by some OU fans...

If ND is in a goal-line situation. (1 yard to goal line or so) and has a play to give (i.e. not 3rd or 4th down). I kinda want to have a Manti Teo/Wildcat scheme where Manti takes a direct snap and pulls a Tebow/Bell Dozer putting it in for 6. I know this isn't likely at all, but God I would love to see this ONCE and I can think of nothing better than at OU.

2. What would it do for Manti's Heisman resume?

Risks, are Manti could fumble or get hurt...

Benefits are, it wouldn't take long to prepare for in practice, 6 points, and a HUGE motivator. If I were an O lineman I would wanna push and driver harder than ever to get 6 for Manti.

I didn't know about BK being asked about this, but I figure it would never happen. I guess I would love to see Manti get in the endzone. Guess he'll just have to get 6 the old fashioned way for a LB.

It would have nothing to do with giving our team an advantage and everything to do with getting Manti a shot at the Heisman.

I don't see it happening though.

As much as I'd like to see Manti win the Heisman I am more interested in this team winning games. If handing off to Manti does not give us a better chance at winning games then we shouldn't do it.

No we had a penalty for having Brown and Jackson on the field at the same time earlier this year I believe. I think it was Purdue or Sparty.

No, but in the WC package usually its the guy carrying the ball and 10 guys in there to block. So Manti can replace EG.

Nothing at all, I just recall an April Fools joke a few years ago about ND and Mount Union agreeing to a home and home series... It was absurdedly funny.

Yeah I believe the question specifically mentioned Tuitt, not Manti, but the point remains the same. BK would be crucified if any of his defensive studs got hurt implementing them this way. We have a ton of talent on offense, both on the lines and in the skill positions - they need to be able to get the ball in the endzone themselves.
