Early 2010 BCS forecast

Title game: Alabama vs. Ohio State

Rose: Oregon vs. Boise State

Fiesta: Nebraska vs. Iowa

Sugar: Notre Dame vs. Texas

Orange: Virginia Tech vs. Pittsburgh

i dont know what i like better, preseason hype or under the radar?

preseason hype is definitely more fun at first, but then if you dont live up to it youre fried by the media and fans.

under the radar is not as fun but if your good its "what a surprise team!" and if not its just "well they werent expected to do anything anyways."

my dad told me he saw usa today put out a preseason top 10 and we were tenth. they stated "it wont take long for kelly to work his magic."

BTW ND vs texas would be awesome! im still holding out hope for ND vs mia in the orange bowl

B/c OSU is in the BCS Championship Game so in the BCS if the Rose Bowl loses the Big10 or PAC10 Champion to the BCS they are free to pick any team they want (eligible teams) as a replacement.

I like under the radar. I'll never forget 2005 when mark may said we'd be lucky to go 1-5 in our first 6 and then we went in and whooped pitt. That was awesome

We are going to have a new defense, a completely new offense, and our QB will either be an inexperienced redshirt sophomore or a true freshman.

I say let us earn every ounce of respect we receive this upcoming season.

Crist's doctors may have done wonderous things with his knee surgery. I sure hope so.
He's gonna need a lot of mobility to keep from breaking Clausen's Most Times Sacked record set as a freshman.

I'd much much rather be predicted as bad and hopeless and then come out and blow em away, than the usually "we're gonna be so awesome we'll need our own bowl game" kinda thing. And yeah we got a great coach...but did this Mandel dude realize our QB situation!?

I was under the impression that the Rose Bowl just agreed to ALWAYS have a Pac 10/Big 10 matchup and when one champ goes to the title game they are now obligated to go to the second place finisher...

did not see this on the net but that is what I heard in circles and on TV around this years Rose Bowl

Texas and Oklahoma have both won Rose Bowls......they are both from the Big12....it is a fact. Why? B/c OSU and USC were in the BCS Game those years.....

When the Big10 or Pac10 Champ is in the BCS Championship they (Rose Bowl) can go outside the conferences for a matchup.
