Apparently it's a boost in money and NIU feels that playing in midweek games really harms their attendance.

Buffalo and UMass are odd geographic fits for the MAC. NIU makes more sense with IN, MI and OH. Adds a portion of the Chicago market.

Geography is out the window a while ago. NIU sees more money to be made in the MWC. MWC sees a portion of the Chicago market considering DeKalb is an hour from Chicago and Big Ten HQ.

Yes. He was quite good.

They have a transfer from Florida now who 247 listed as a four star recruit. He had an offer from ND/Elston listed.

That's kinda crazy...when has a conference been so even across the board like that? It defies the bell curves, stats, history, logic and a shit ton of other metrics. Also, Toledo is 4-3 but opposing teams have only scored 100 points on them, 50 less than ND has given up all year. Only 6 defenses have been stingier this year. Only one of their losses was to a P4 team which is surprising, and it was a one score game against Kentucky. Their offense ain't too bad either.
