All of that is fair… this team though was just built for it to be “the year” with getting Hartman… I never imagined we’d be this bad … we have experience and talent everywhere excerpt maybe wr, and even there we have a lot of young 4 stars2017 he got blown out by a Miami team that finished with three losses, we'll see how Louisville finishes. Also got blown out by a Stanford team that finished with 5 losses.
2018 great team, but soft schedule only beat two teams that finished the year ranked.
2019 lost by 4 TDs to a Michigan team that would finish the year 19th in the polls.
2020 COVID year, great team.
2021 played an incredibly soft schedule, beat zero teams that would finish the year ranked and lost at home by multiple scores to Cincinnati in a game where the offense couldn't move the ball at all.
So yes, he did lose to "Louisville" caliber teams in embarrassing fashion multiple times. And it's crazy how much harder this year's schedule is than most years.
