Theres absolutely nothing illegal with this what so ever but thanks everyone your opinions are so insightful and helpful.

It doesn't matter if there is nothing illegal (against compliance rules) about it or how innocent your intentions, it isn't worth the risk.

i would send an email to Ryan Grooms (ND football equipment manager) with the question, if your serious about this then i guess you might be able to get them from him directly. but asking to buy gloves from a player is just plain stupid.

Is anyone selling some Lepra-CHO golves? Lepra-CHIN gloves? Lepra-CHANG gloves?

I'd pay at least $1.20 for them.

Kinda Funny Story

Kinda Funny Story

I was looking on google to see if Eastbay or anyone had these gloves for sale because one of my buddies just got a pair of Ohio St football gloves and I really liked em. My google search produced pretty much nothing but pictures and this was the only result that actually had some text to accompany it, so i started reading it and it brought me to my story. Well anyways, I come to find out that my buddy got his gloves on Ebay and they were advertized as Jordan Hall's gloves from the Ohio St/Michigan game last year. I have no idea how the seller got them and i don't think my buddy even asked(kinda stupid if ya ask me!). They had all the 1892 decals (to match the throwbacks they were wearing), had his number on em, and after seeing them i felt that they were actually authentic. I couldn't believe that after all his school had just been through, how could he even think of doing that. I kept ragging on him, telling him his name was gonna headline the next Ohio St investigation...LOL. But anyways, I'm still looking for these gloves. So if anyone hears about a public release or something along those lines, please let me know or post it in this thread.

My neck hurts from my head going up and down so fast looking at your avatar. Ugh. Thanks for the cheap thrill. LOL

found out something interesting. when nike made their pro combat gloves for LSU this year (which looked sweet) they sold them to the general public, they sol put almost immidiately and now go for up to $150 on ebay. wish adidas would do the same for the leprechaun or the new golden shamrock gloves being debuted this weekend.

I want a pair but I don't know exactly what I'd use them for lol. Maybe just where them around on game day.

haha I know right? I'd probably just stare at them and keep them in a glass case in my house.

Of course they'd come out of the case when my future first-born son becomes the next Calvin Johnson.

Speaking of the new golden shamrock gloves for this weekend, does anybody have an image link? I can't find anything anywhere because all the focus is on the ND '70's disco helmet

I'd wear them when me and my girlfriend start to "wrestle" in bed.
