On the local sports radio here in Jacksonville, they talked about Foley wanting to contact BK to see if there is any interest since they want a offensive minded head coach.

USA Today's Dan Wolken just published an article on why Florida isn't a top-5 job. Kelly would have a much easier time recruiting and managing his roster at UF, though the facilities would be a downgrade and (unbelievably) the expectations would be even higher.
Definitely a horizontal move, so I still don't see it happening (unless Kelly's relationship with Swarbrick has soured). But God help us if it does. No ND HC has ever left the school for another college program. We'd be in for at least several painful years of on-field failure and bitter recriminations among our fan base. Would probably be the end of my IE tenure; I'd want no part of that.

All mods would resign if BK left for Florida. Beau would try to fight the good fight, but would take his proverbial life with a self-ban at the end.
It'd be like Pride Rock after Mufasa was trampled in the stampeed and the hyenas would take over. Pat would create a username that no mod would care to trace and he'd become the new leader.

So I'm going to lock this thread for now. Reason being is that the discussion (Kelly -> Florida... lol...) isn't related to anything in the first 80% of this thread (Kelly -> NFL... actually plausible at some point in the future...)
As such, every time it gets bumped is misleading.
So if someone wants to start a Kelly -> FLOLrida thread be my guest, but this one is going to get locked until inevitable Kelly -> NFL rumors start at the end of the NFL season.
