It's a very serious situation. Especially for us guys that have 13 year old little girls. They are still like 6 year olds... My daughter Is still questioning things like she is learning english again... at times.

If that were true we would expect to see a similar increase in every age group. We aren't.

Do you think it's a coincidence that young girls in the most impressionable age group have seen their rates of transgenderism (?) rise by 2000%? These are the same girls that were cutting, bulimic, and anorexic in years past.

This is a trend. Problem is this one, unlike the others I mentioned, is being cheered on. These girls are being called heros and brave. Goaded on by social media and influential adults in their lives like teachers and counselors.

So Rogan and others that have been lumped into the IDW are far from perfect. But at least their podcasts are long form discussions w/ diversity of thoughts and at the end the two participants are still cordial despite “agreeing to disagree”. It’s still healthy to listen to other viewpoints and debate.

Where else can such diversity of thought be found?

That isn't the issue here tho. The issue is that little girls are being indoctrinated through social media at the most complicated point of their lives and think they are trans. When In fact they are just going through hardships that we all go through at that pivotal point in our lives. (puberty)

I have a young daughter (5), but I also have friends with teenage daughters (one of whom is 12 and wants testosterone for conversion). Thanks for posting this. I love JRE and pick and choose which pods I listen to (they're time consuming). I feel like this is one that's a Can't Miss. This topic is very important for anyone with kids. Just as reading Jonathan Haidt's book, The Coddling of the American Mind is equally important.

It's beyond irritating, almost to the point of scary, that when I searched for Abigail's book online, Google bombarded me with articles about "Joe Rogan spreads transphobia," or "renowned anti-trans journalist," etc. If anyone actually took the time to listen to that podcast, you'd know that both of those quotes are demonstrably false. Men's Health for crying out loud was one of the top google links making these claims.

This country has a huge problem with being unable to have open and honest discussions about serious topics and I'm growing tired of it. Even fearful.

The part of the podcast that mentioned California's mandated gender curriculum blew my mind and my co-worker literally couldn't grasp how terrible that is and how it's directly effecting the mind's of these kids as they become teenagers. Psychologists and experts in this area of study are pushing back on this like crazy and people like my co-worker just roll their eyes at the issue? C'mon!

Or when I bring up sports and how biological males are ruining women's sports, she says "that's rare." Umm, no it's not.

Or how biological males who have transitioned to women are trying to hijack actual feminist progress and there's pushback within that space...my co-worker claims that's made up. Unreal...

Wake up people!

Yes! The country is full of these conversations that need to be had and an opinion Is all that Is stopping it.
When I was growing up, the mantra from the elders was don't talk politics or Religion. It confused me as a child. I was always curious and wanted to know and understand what adult life was like and I figured when I grow up i'd be able to talk about these forbidden subjects....

30 years later and these subjects are the destruction of our democracy and the children we are all trying to raise. I still run into older guys that are scared of a civil conversation because they might not agree. It's just lazy minded as far as I'm concerned. If people can't relate to another person's opinion than what In the world are they learning?

I've got a 13 year old daughter. She's my only daughter out of 3, and I reassure her every day in some way that she Is special but not any more special than any other father thinks of their daughter, I tell her she's special because she's My daughter. She knows more than I did at her age because I welcome these conversations.

Most children IMO, can't understand their sexual nature at all. They act the way they see things happening, and In today's Social Media craze it's gotta be mind blowing to think you know or understand anything at that age... Most adults, If they look themselves in the mirror don't understand...

Great point. True clinical gender dysphoria is extremely rare. Think of how the small segment of people who truly can’t help their dysphoria think when they see others being socially influenced to transition and aren’t clinically gender dysphoric.

But when a clinician points out the scientific evidence, emotions overcome those who disagree & they attempt to bully the clinician.
