Joe Is one of the best Interviews I've listened to. I wanted to make a thread for others to post their own favorites.

More to come.

Just listened to the Snowden interview. Surreal that he is on the lam in Russia but still able to communicate. I learned a lot of his situation that I wasn’t aware of.

Long-form interviews are very informative. I also enjoyed episode where he interviewed Tim Pool & Jack from Twitter.

Too many to list, but everyone should be able to find an interview that suits their interest b/c Rogan covers a lot of topics.

Snowden loves the sound of his own voice.

That has to be the least Joe has ever talked on a pod.

You’re 100% correct on that point. It didn’t help that there was a delay. Snowden initially came off as a bullshit artist but that just my first impression of him. He just seemed to romanticize his life & events like he was making it into a movie.

I like Joe. His podcast made me aware of intermittent fasting and keto. He has a very wide knowledge base.

I can never listen to an entire interview though.

They are long but that works great for folk like me in the car for most of the day

Every now and again. At least once in an adult's life.
Some of us have to come to the realization that somebody knows more about something than our dumb selves give them credit for.

It's amazing

Not 1 comment about the state of affairs, that have transpired since the 9/11 fiasco?

Another completely amazing figure. SICK
402 to zip. I'm still crying about a silly football game too.

I mean sure, but most of that pod was Snowden just going in to excruciating detail about his personal life and backstory.

His personal life had so much to do with the government. Idk bud.
It just rubs me in those odd spots when we only see 2019. We aren't what we were 19 years ago as a country and we sure as shit on your toilet aren't what we could be.
I find it rather comforting to know that we had a kid that grew into a man within our Government that leaked the information to us as an American people.
There were rumors of the spying on us before 2013. But, to the extent....?
We may have been in another war... other than ISIS.

I'm not demonizing him or what he did. I just think he's a boring interview.

First time I ever listened to Rogan was in August when he interviewed Bernie Sanders. I think Bernie is just okay, but it was a really good podcast regardless.

There's no doubt man, Snowden took that crap over. He's so redundant in his delivery, that was hard to watch. He takes 15 mins to say something that should honestly take 5.

Some really interesting episodes that can be found on YouTube, if you're interested in UFO's, aliens, or Area 51 type stuff: the Dan Aykroyd episode, the Bob Lazar episode, the Dr. Stephen Greer episode. All really good watches. Bob Lazar was supposedly an Area 51 employee, and Rogan really gets into the details with him, it's interesting af.

Rogan separates himself from other interview style podcasts because he:

-actually listens to the guests, never interrupting them
-allows guests to direct the conversation any way they like (makes for hilarious off topic talk)

Makes for good listening. He gave Alex Jones a 500 foot leash, and didnt re-direct him until he reached a level of insanity that nobody could follow.

Rogan has pushed back plenty of times when guests say off the wall stuff (especially if it's regarding a topic in which Joe possesses a decent amount of knowledge). I haven't (and don't plan to) listened to Alex Jones, but if he really let him get away with saying some insane stuff, that's on Joe.

The premise of his podcast isn't to have people on and let them rant for 3 hours. It's to have an open and honest dialogue w/o editing or interruption of advertising. The back and forth over any topic is what people want to hear, not lectures.

Steven Crowder 1 was extremely contentious because Joe goaded Crowder into an argument about weed, also Joe was drunk lol.

I just recently listened to him again. It Is amazing to have the information he gave.
I'm actually confused. Joe wanted the information that Snowden gave. Joe Is a great interviewer because he allowed Eric (and all of his other interviewees) to talk.

Norton is great. I really enjoyed Motherless Brooklyn, but my girlfriend hated it so much she fell asleep in the theatre.

I'm reading The Power Broker now, which is the story of Robert Moses (the guy Alec Baldwin's character was based on in the movie)

I have no opinion on Crowder either way, but it's the only episode I've listened to where I thought Rogan was a dick. He was just a drunk jerk that day.

On the Bob Lazar topic, the bearded fellow sitting next to Bob on the JR Podcast did a documentary on Bob and his time working for the Government and his life since. It's on Netflix. Way interesting stuff.

The Elon Musk interview is DEEP but incredibly interesting; Neil deGrasse Tyson has three episodes and is interesting; Joe's done some interesting exercise and diet interviews.

Yeah, there have been a few times where I noticed Joe wasn't making a lot of sense. You could tell he was drunk/high and just rambling. In those moments, I get annoyed with him.

I listened to the recent pod with Garrett Reisman (former NASA astronaut, etc). It was fantastic hearing him talk about his deep water exploration missions and he also talked about SpaceX and Boeing rocket projects and the future of space exploration. I loved it.

Anyone on here listen to TimeSuck with Dan Cummins?

It's just him talking in depth about one subject each episode.

I believe it's great and am almost caught up with all 180 episodes in just a few months.
