Just watching that presser—appears that Franklin’s head is about bitching, Freemans’ is about business. Hopefully that’s an indicator of how they prepped respectively and we see some deer in the headlights on the PSU sideline.

For real. He’s getting ready to coach in a semi final game and he’s bitching about ND not being in a conference. Lol

The funniest thing about all this is that PSU was independent until the 90's. Then they joined a conference because no one gave a shit about them and they needed the security and stability of a conference.

If they didn't need to join a conference for financial reasons, they wouldn't have. What are we supposed to believe they are like conference moralists that joined the Big 10 for altruistic reasons, to further the interests of the college football world as a whole?

GTFO Franklin, you bush league baby back bitch.

As far as I can tell I'm the only fan for either team under the age of 60 in all of South Florida. Really really bizarre. The campus game was all men 15 to 55 and now it's all old married couples.

And all the Penn State grannies have my mother-in-law's accent and it's driving me INSANE.

I'll be there with a 12 year old wing man in 18 hours. He isn't very tough but he talks a mean game.

Just watched the SMU and Boise 25 minute highlights and I feel better about tomorrow than I did before.

Observations:
- I bet PSU spies Leonard like they did SMU. Not sure Leonard's faced much spies so far, but it's something to watch.
- We can survive with or without Carter. Georgia's front 7 is better IMO, but there are other guys on PSU's line beyond Carter that are good (#15, #33 stood out).
- Their DB tackling isn't great. I think Mitch Evans has a big game, and I think all WRs have an opportunity to have serious YAC in this game.
- Leonard is going to have a big passing game, I can just feel it. The PSU coverage isn't a nightmare and I think he's going to shine on this stage.
- The PSU RBs are really good, probably every bit as good as ours to be honest. But I don't think their OL is some juggernaut. They will run inside more than Georgia though. When they ran outside tackles, they didn't even hit big against Boise state. So go ahead and try, I guess, but do expect them to establish the interior run.
- Their receiver #5 is good.
- Biggest thing, Allard throws a beautiful ball but he gets antsy fast at first sign of pressure. He does not like being sacked and that really stood out to me. Good luck with that.
- Their FG kicker didn't impress me. Don't think he missed any that I saw, but none were pretty, even a PAT barely snuck in. No idea his #s on the year.

Don't think I'm breaking any news here but this all stood out to me.

PSU wants a white out at a neutral site? They don't even wear white for their white out game at home! Idiots!

I looked up their weights because I thought it would be a relevant point but they didn’t match what i anticipated. PSU definitely “plays small” on defense if that makes sense? Their heights and weights don’t match it but like the DEs can struggle at times holding up and are more specialized pass rushers. Their safeties aren’t guys like Shuler that will pop you. Their LBs outside King are closer to 2023 Sneed. That all leads to the tackling issues at times

A team that struggles to tackle sounds like a team that jadarian price would have a huge day against
Those are favorable conditions for all three of the main backs. Aneyas got a bit of Kyren Williams in him. Great balance and gets from 0 to next gear very fast. Shame I don't expect much from Love this game, because he probably goes off in this one.

It's not a particularly big defensive front. Their DT's are 300 and 288 a piece. Dennis-Sutton is a decent size strongside end at 265, and Carter is around 255 himself. It's not like Georgia, where they're lining up 310-330 pound mammoths inside. And like others have said, if Carter plays, Run. At. Him. He's going to be hurting and limited. A dislocated shoulder is going to make it tough to wrap up and finish tackles, especially in run defense.

Just saw a written recap of their joint pre-game presser this afternoon and I agree, what an idiot Franklin is... Worry about your own house and conference in re: to independence vs. being in a conference. And worry that your team is ready, because you just pissed off MMFF and it ain't gonna end well for you and your boys! 🍀🍀🍀
