It will fall on the offense’s shoulders to do something this game. They’ll have to put up at least 4-5 TD’s. The problem is if Spindler is done too, Georgia’s DL will feast.Out of cope I'm convincing myself we'll be fine without Mills. It was going to be a challenge either way, and hopefully KVA is back to add something to the front 7. But it's time for Denbrock to win Golden a game. Denbrock has the players to do it and it's time he shines and carries the water. Why not.
Our punter has been "out" all season also. 😂Georgias punter is out too so at least there’s that
Lucas is ready...Like for real. Who would we have left? Rubio, Cross, Hinish, and who in the middle? At guard are we looking at Sam? He would have to massively step up and have the game of his life. I feel Rocco would be the biggest loss. We run behind his pull all the time. And we need to he able to move the ball. But losing either would be really bad.
His injury is an enigma. No mention during broadcast, no replay showing anything. Any chance it was a concussion?Of the three, I don’t see how Spindler can even remotely play. Never heard of a guy being injured bad enough that he’s in street clothes on the sideline and then coming back to play the next week.
Watch the play before Thomas scored. He was rolled up on.His injury is an enigma. No mention during broadcast, no replay showing anything. Any chance it was a concussion?
The other winning teams didn't suffer any major injuries.Injuries from the Indiana game is exactly why I hope we don't just roll over for the 2026 expansion CFP discussions and take ourselves out of the bye conversation.
We completely outclassed Indiana the entire game, and still came away with possible season altering injuries.
College football has never been more like the NFL, where it comes a war of attrition at the end of the season, and being forced to play an extra game when we have a championship caliber squad is such a disadvantage.
Best of luck to the guys this week, I'm sure they will be fighting like hell for the next couple days to be out there with their guys.
Didn’t Texas lose a bunch of guys? The other winning teams didn't suffer any major injuries.
Just shocked. This is just absolutely shocking of a take from you, Reaper. You think ND is going to fail. No way not you. Just shocked i say.If Mills is done then we are done don’t see us beating Georgia
I'm on the same boat. Against these lines, we need to have our 5th and 6th year men in the trenches. Mills and Spindler are critical, given the guys we've already lost. We're just tapped from a depth perspectiveLike for real. Who would we have left? Rubio, Cross, Hinish, and who in the middle? At guard are we looking at Sam? Exactly. Rosters are expanding for a reason. But, the portal makes it difficult. But there is a reason why in the NFL playoffs availability is the best ability.Didn’t Texas lose a bunch of guys?
Also teams playing extra game in conference championship lost guys (like Beck for Georgia).
The one guy we can count on to overreact to any given situation.Just shocked. This is just absolutely shocking of a take from you, Reaper. You think ND is going to fail. No way not you. Just shocked i say.
I agree. I'm not sure he will be, but you could make a case that Al Washington should be on the clock depending on next year's recruiting class, particularly at DT. It speaks volumes when you have Tim Prister calling you out for poor recruiting multiple times. He needs to hit a grand slam with 2026 DL recruiting. They need guys who are physically ready to play, particularly at DT. No more projects and tweeners.Mills and Cross getting hurt this year is exactly why you can’t go into next year with 3-4 capable guys at NT/DT need 6 minimum
Oh you must be new here. There are many. The one guy we can count on to overreact to any given situation.
You haven’t mentioned this once yetMills and Cross getting hurt this year is exactly why you can’t go into next year with 3-4 capable guys at NT/DT need 6 minimum
You haven’t mentioned this once yet
I obviously very badly hope ND wins this game ... but it's legit remarkable that they have lost as many key defenders as they have to injury AND all these OL to injury and made it this far. Like ND replaced arguably the best corner in the country with a true freshman... and just kee
I’m sure he will be asked about it at his weekly press conference. I assume that’ll be at noon today. When will Notre Dame / Freeman make an announcement in regard to the injuries? Or, do they not typically release that information?
Merry Christmas and Go Irish
That’s where I’m at if we lose by less than 10 I’ll be satisfied I’m expecting it to be a good game regardlessI'm not saying I don't care about beating Georgia ... I obviously very badly hope ND wins this game ... but it's legit remarkable that they have lost as many key defenders as they have to injury AND all these OL to injury and made it this far. Like ND replaced arguably the best corner in the country with a true freshman... and just keeps winning? It's pretty much house money to me at this point.
