"Would you say, coach, that Notre Dame is built like an SEC team?"
"Yeah. They're built like an SEC team. Physical at the line of scrimmage, linebackers who fly to the ball, all that."

Just imagining that's how it went, I haven't listened, but that's the oldest trick in the book when you're fishing for a specific quote.

Wow. That's impressive. Almost word for word.

As I doubt we will get much pressure on him we need to confuse him with looks and coverages.
Stop their run game. Keep them in passing downs.

This is the type of player that you blitz, especially when the receivers (hypothetically) shouldn’t cause us too much of a problem

I think this is how it lines up next year
Wagner LT, will black backup
RG Billy
Knapp or Craig
LG Jaguash
RT Guerby
It will be interesting. Rudolph has gone out of his way to say both Wagner and Lambert are best on the right side. But I’d agree, they both need to be on the field next year.

Sctews with my brain that you have the RG lining up next to the LT and vice Verda. Like reading in the car.

It was a slick, some might say arrogant, way of complimenting his own program/conference as the gold standard.

By tomorrow, ND will be the greatest team in college football, and lowly Georgia is the only thing standing in their way to a title in his feeble mind.

Kirby’s football mind is genius level.

Kirby’s gamesmanship level is toddler level.

I appreciate the enthusiasm, but it won’t be tomorrow.

Beck made some horrendous throws vs Florida. Threw 3 picks. The first 2 were terrible. The third he got absolutely clobbered while throwing. UGA down in the game and he doesn’t bat an eye. Brings his team back and made some really good plays.

He brought them back a hand full of times this year. Against Florida. Against Ga tech. Even against Bama after a terrible start. He played a great game against Tennessee.

Passing wise the drop off from him to Stockton really could be huge.

We're going to be in trouble if we see a repeat of the USC game
I doubt Kirby let's him throw it more than 10 yards down field unless they're down two possessions in the second half.

They're going to pound the ball. Load the box and force this kid to make plays. If he does, adjust. And if his arm ends their season, you live with that outcome.

Yes. At that point you just tip your cap
