Okay. I wasn't sure when the testing was done, I just knew it was before the bowl game. I guess that could give some credence to being suspended for the bowl game. If the players are suspended I assume they wouldn't be tested, which would keep them from having a positive test by the NCAA.

I can't imagine the scholarship reduction rumors are true, since that would be worse than vacating wins. It doesn't make any sense to do that. It would make more sense (albeit, still little to none) to punish the teams of the past for the cheating, but why punish the team's of the future. Why does a recruit from 2014 or 2015, etc. have to lose his scholarship because of another players mistake. God, it's not that fucking complicated. Do these so-called "professional" admins use their brains!?

- Ohio State, with bigot AD's, scumbag coaches and tattoo gates.
- Alabama with cash cow players, being injected with deer antler spray and too many drug-related incidents to count

Notre Dame is honestly absurd. I might stop intensely following the program and just tune in to cheer on Saturdays if they suspend these kids an entire semester for smoking weed.

I knew kids on the Bucknell football team that got caught smoking weed and were suspended one game with a hearing that wrapped everything up in two weeks. That is a normal reaction by a self-aware university that understands the current climate on college campuses.

ND, on the other hand, appears to have task forces of administrators dedicated to hunting down even the most minor of transgressions and policing them to the highest extent possible. It's fucking ridiculous. It's a college campus, not the NSA.

If folston and Bryant were as worried about football as much as trying to sneak a joint they would be worth while. This is selfish behavior and I hope someone on the team calls them out.

If they admin on their own takes scholarships away they all need to be fired including Jack. This is unacceptable. This should have never crossed their minds and if they go through with it the are pretty Mich telling everyone ND football will Never again win a NC.

The worst part of all of this is that we are doing it the right way for no reason! Does anyone outside of the ND fanbase and institution give a fuck? No they all hate our guts and rip on us every chance they get. No one ever sings out praises when we do something like the frozen five, that literally no other program in the country would have done.

We are fighting a battle that has no end or point. We are stuck carrying a spear running into battle against marines. With these archaic admins the best we can hope for is another 2012 by 2050.

ND makes it hard to be a fan.

I am on the fence here as obviously the value of a ND degree lies in the quality of the students, the exclusivity of the school, as well as other non-football related aspects of the school. Its first and foremost duty is academics. It is not going to change for a few guys who accepted that challenge by enrolling for a free 40-year bankroll. That being said getting busted for weed is weak sauce on their part. Its illegal still and the guys know what they are doing. I am assuming they will get the same punishment anyone else would that was dumb enough to get busted.
