Officer that shot him was looking directly at the other officer in grey as he disarms him. Guy never reached for anything and was already disarmed before he was murdered.

Gattaca, appreciate you, man. But this thread is lost and has been for a long time. Abandon it, brother. The dehumanizing language and the blatant lies I have read in here from some posters regarding undocumented immigrants is some monster-type shit.

ICE used to work with much more support of the states. *like when Obama was detaining and deporting approximately 3 million in his administration. Now they’re making the situation volatile, it’s disingenuous and vile. People are being called to act against it. They think they’re f*cking Batman or Robin Hood.

ICE isn’t handling it anywhere near the standard they need to be held to. The targets are not meeting the criminals first at a high enough %.

It’s a shit show all around.
The states also didn't actively impede the work of immigration authorities and rile the civilian populace up to charge the streets.

Agreed that ICE is handling it poorly, and I think that they should have backed out of this operation and tried again from another angle. But I'm not going to pretend that the agitators are blameless

Sure. But being a dickhead doesn’t mean you should be murdered.

from what information I have seen, I think the ICE agents acted recklessly and perhaps criminally. But if you are armed and willingly inject yourself into an altercation with law enforcement and resist detainment, you are also an idiot

Enforcing immigration law is the biggest bullshit. If they meant that, they would be in Florida and Texas. This is nothing but two fold political retribution and sowing chaos to protect pedophiles.

I'm arguing that the president is focusing his attention on places he holds grudges against instead of enforcing the law in places that would make sense if this truly was about deporting as many illegal immigrants as possible. He then fans the flames of the unrest he's starting by blatantly lying when ICE fucks up and murders someone.
This surge has been tied to the insane fraud from the Somali community in Minnesota as well. The fraud that they hosted played a big role in this. I’m sure to some degree the opportunity to bag bad guys and Somali’s in Walz’s neighborhood has been fun.
I also think ICE deportation efforts are going much smoother and quieter in red states where law enforcement is aligned with ICE. It takes a lot less work and makes a lot less noise when you don’t have the commie community out there trying to stop you. Minneapolis did this to themselves.

No, and swimming during a lightning storm doesn't mean you deserve to die either. When law enforcement is carrying out arrests while being surrounded by a crowd of people blocking in their cars and screeching whistles at them interfering with their work, it makes the shooting of this guy incredibly more likely, especially when the guy is armed and resisting detainment.

Some people watched the video and said the guy was run over and in critical condition with internal bleeding. Notice how you didn’t care to call out that lie.
I never heard anyone say he got ran over. I just watched the video and know she hit him with her car and a lot of people in here, even after seeing multiple views of her doing so, said she never touched him.

Same guy who lied about being a doctor, and has shown he has the intellect of a greeter in front an automatic door. Just wave and pity him.
Dude, you're just pathetic and a glutton for punishment. I gave you multiple opportunities to back your claim up and you couldn't. You say so much weak, sissy, stupid stuff and when you get called on it, you run and dodge and spin. I don't know if you can't help yourself, don't realize how weak that is, or just like the abuse. Liking abuse is common for people like you, so maybe that's it. Being childish and insecure and saying stupid stuff you can't defend or back up is a sad way to go through life. Time for you to man up, grow up, and toughen up.

I don’t think they want to send the message that if the left just comes out and antagonizes, ice will leave. They need to reach a deal with the state to honor ice detainers (and therefore reduce the surge) and cool the temp so both sides can save face and put this chaos to end or someone else will die. I’m sure some lunatic leftist is going to take a shot at an ice person soon.

You know what, fine fraud was committed in the Somalian community in MPLS. To the tune of $100M.

Meanwhile, Trump has granted clemency to convicted fraudsters ordered by the courts to pay over a combined $1.5BILLION. So, let’s make it about immigrants committing fraud.

Let’s make it about Venezuelan drug runners bringing fentanyl in 40 foots flippers, which cannot even make the trip from Venezuela to Miami. Not the Qatari bank account controlling Venezuelan oil CASH, which is operating outside of the US Treasury and checks and balances of Congress.

Immigrants, while masked federal agents are patrolling areas with political differences executing people in the streets.

At a certain point it’s not about if you like Trump anymore. It’s about if you like your country.

Yes that is all true, but that doesn't mean this guy should have been killed.
I've been at work all day and only had a minute or two here and there to read and watch, so I'm not up to speed on all the videos and what actually happened. Not surprisingly, there are multiple conflicting accounts. Did he draw on them, attempt to draw, get shot before being disarmed or after? I don't know yet. I've seen a still from a video purporting to show him holding the drawn gun, but again, conflicting accounts. I'm gonna watch more and wait for all the info to come out. If he didn't represent a clear threat, then I'll agree with you that he shouldn't have been killed.

Can your country kill you for swimming during a lightning storm?

This isn’t a shit happens situation. Acting like it is makes for an ignorant argument.

That’s what we said for four years when the left funded and facilitated the dumbest border invasion ever while ignoring the diminished President. Incredibly damaging, has led to crime, death, fraud, and for what? Future votes? Illegal votes?

The best thing done for our country was done by Trump and that was securing the border. It’s why he was elected. Deporting these assholes is why he was elected. You can hate him, but the country spoke and this is not some new law they snuck in like a Virginia campaign lie- it’s long standing federal law and they are enforcing it. Dismissing with whataboutism only ignores the reality.

I have zero risk or fear of being killed by an ICE agent.

I’m not
A- illegal
B- Agitating federal officers
C- Disrupting law enforcement

Their death was predictable and there’s prob going to be another one. It’s a shit happens situation.

Bro, I’m talking about federal agents killing people in the streets. Not immigrants.

Now, who is dismissing with whataboutism and ignoring reality?

He was helping some woman up and got pepper sprayed. They found the gun on him and disarmed him. Tough to resist arrest with like 10 ICE agents on you. If he wasn’t holding the gun it’s kind of a moot point because they took it from him before killing him.

Truth. You who still support this administration have lost your way, and perspective on what's going on.

The MAGA administration knows they will lose the House, and there's a good chance, the Senate as well, as there is plenty of anti-Maga and Trump voter sentiment at this point.
And using common sense, we all know there is almost always the boomerang effect where the party that has won the Presidency and both houses, loses one or both houses at the midterm elections.

You all know this, Trump and the admin know this. With this in mind, the admin and all the tech billionaires and Christian Nationalists know that if it happens, their gig is over, and many will be discredited, impeached, or imprisoned; they will do whatever it takes to prevent this from happening, which brings the focus to the elections.

Thus, you get this plan to go after all the blue states, the latest justification being in the name of rooting out immigration corruption according to the admin.
So now they'll keep building up ICE/BP/DHS forces and expanding into blue cities, and likely other target cities in Red states down the road, leading up to the midterms.

Then, come election day, ICE, etc. forces will be everywhere in these cities intimidating voters, likely grabbing many voters and holding them until the next day, and in parallel will keep working the angle of last resort that will be that many (blue) states have not submitted to the Federal government's audit request for voter rolls and that they are corrupt and so the election results are not valid, etc.; therefore, they're not leaving the WH and control of the government.

And by the point, there will be greatly built up ICE forces, Quick Reactionary forces, and and National Guard where they have Red State cooperation to quell any opposition and protest.

Do you think Trump would be initiating a $200M White House renovation, building up ICE forces and detention centers/prisons like a mad man, and making all these military, education, and cultural changes only to have it all unwound less than 2 years into his latest presidential term? Of course not.

This is not a government administration, this is an assault on our Republic and Democracy, and a power grab.

All this other shit (that now apparently includes executing US citizens) is just noise, political rhetoric and lies, and distraction; and nothing but means to an end.

Wake up and open your eyes.

Of course you haven't.
Just hours after she was killed on Jan. 7, Trump falsely claimed that Good “violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE officer” and said that she had “behaved horribly.” He later said Good, a poet and a mother of three, had a “highly disrespectful” attitude toward law enforcement and suggested that it justified her killing. Trump administration officials, including Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, were quick to accuse Good of being a “domestic terrorist.”

What are you selling? Not your own skills, someone else’s.

Well done, you punch the clock while myself and your bosses are working. Easy to sell someone else’s work, rather than be the one doing it.
Yeah, that's how it works. Some people like audit and advisory. Some people like sales. Very few are excellent at both or want to do both. Those guys don't wanna do what I do, and I sure as hell don't wanna do what they do. Everyone is happy.

George Washington avi says all who conceal carry must die.
In my CCW class they made an incredibly big deal about how you have a duty to avoid potential physical altercations while carrying, for both legal and practical reasons.

You don’t want to raise the stakes of that fight to death.

Being an "observer" of law enforcement, while also armed and getting into shoving distance with them, is just a bad idea, even if you think the law empowers you to play the "I'm not touching you" game with acts of defiance or minor assaults. It's also hazardous to the public trust to create a situation in which every protestor is regarded as a potential threat, and every cop seen to be on the edge of shooting someone
