This is exactly the problem, and more people need to be willing to call a spade a spade. "Refugees" are disproportionately young men (42%) versus young women (11%) -- 4. Asylum seeker demography: Young and male.I think that’s fair, but how do you actually go through proper checks in the civil war torn country of Syria?
“Are you a terrorist?”
“No”
“Okay sweet, good to go!”
I am 100% in favor of providing host nation aid to a third party country in an instance like Syria where we advocate for the temporary resettlement of those individuals and assist the other country with the housing and aid. I think that it’s also a bit asinine to pretend like culture doesn’t play a factor. Resettling individuals in a society that more similarly mirrors their own seems like it would be more beneficial for both parties.
Was unaware the vetting process involved deep knowledge of cat piss and it's odor.I know a lot about the vetting process.
Wars are generally over color or religion. I know a lot about the vetting process. There are a lot of loyalty questions. If you ask someone if their country and the US went to war right now whose side would you be on, you’d think you are sitting with a terrorist but really you’re sitting with someone with loyalty and a son of the soil they came from.
Dual citizenship for example most people keep just to have in their back pocket.
The world is a lot scarier than people think. And it’s not even your traditional bad actor… it could be someone well intended but at the end of the day is someone with choices.
Expected to a degree, yes. If they think we are the bad guy because the US bombed people I would question their motives on why they would want to be here in the first place.I mean, this is expected no? You know the stories of the kids in the middle east growing up that are happy when it's cloudy because they know that the US can't drone strike them. It's tough for those people to discern who the good guys are when they have limited access to news outside of state media and have grown up being bombed. Which is why it's important to assist them in the assimilation process and not just dump them off in some random place.
I think it's more not that the US is the bad guy, it's just that there are some tough wounds to heal when you're getting bombed. Obviously, they should realize the much worse actor is the Taliban etc. Just you can't expect them to be eating apple pie with a slice of cheese when they land.Expected to a degree, yes. If they think we are the bad guy because the US bombed people I would question their motives on why they would want to be here in the first place.
Assimilate then dump… just seems too good to be true…
Things will start to boil over soon in Europe.
I'm about 20 minutes behind, but it hasn't been good for the trump lawyers since the start. I'm shocked.Trump's lawyers getting absolutely shredded right now.
7-2 seems significant
That's a racist thing to say.Germany is cooked. The sad thing is that they did this to themselves.
Correct. You are racist. That's a racist thing to say.
Germany has been led by morons for decades. Merkel the worst. It’s entirely self-inflicted. I hope we continue to have leadership who shames them while they struggle.Germany is cooked. The sad thing is that they did this to themselves.

It looks like the 88% isn't "foreign born". It contains anyone who had at least one biological parent of foreign origin. They themselves could've been born in Belgium and they could have one parent that is not of foreign origin. From what I understand, Germany and Belgium are both in the same both. 88% of all people in Brussels 20 and under are foreign born. Let that sink in.
Sweden, Denmark, France and Italy are in trouble too.
I’d get called a conspiracy theorist for calling out where this is eventually headed, but you have to be Biden level incompetent to open the floodgates like this. From what I understand, Germany and Belgium are both in the same both. 88% of all people in Brussels 20 and under are foreign born.
