Maybe in South Carolina they don't report on it, but it's in the news every day. Where did anyone say an immigrant killing Laken Riley was worse than Colt Gray shooting up Apalachee HS? The Apalachee shooting got far more coverage.

You're missing an obvious point. We already have enough crime to deal with. Dropping millions of additional people into the country just compounds the issue because police staffs and funding aren't increasing to deal with it let alone all the other problems that come with this. We could build some pretty decent shelters, clothe and feed the homeless with the money we're spending.

I mean, it would be nice to see the discussion on what the Right actually intends on doing with the resources saved by not spending it on immigrants. Could you imagine all the social welfare programs they could fund! This a key point for my distaste for the Dems. They have routinely been in positions of power to actually inflict real policy wins to help people, and they consistently let their voters down. They have run on "At least we aren't Republican's" for three cycles now. They offer very little to their voters in terms of policy wins that it's no wonder that someone like RFK gets support.

And they're being subsidized by the American taxpayer. That's just one example, and it was entirely preventable if this admin had any interest in enforcing our immigration law.

The bill was trash. Normal people want zero people in this country illegally (or any other country for that matter). If Dems were worth a shit they would promote massive expansions to visas and green cards.
