Here you go. Liberty to the Sun Belt, Memphis to CUSA, UConn to the American. I think those are pretty decently balanced

So I worked up a scheduling model that I think makes sense. Just did a dry run on the Xbox and I'm at least 60% this will work. Here's the gist:

• 3 user OOC games (vs 1 user from each of the 3 other conferences - see table below)
• 2 user conference games (vs the other 2 users in your conference)
• 5 CPU conference games (SoS flexibility)
• 2 CPU OOC games (SoS flexibility)

That gives everyone 7 conference games (including 2 users) and 5 OOC games (including 3 users)

Because we would almost definitely run into scheduling conflicts with the OOC user games, I put together a schedule that has everyone play everyone else over the course of 3 seasons. The two tables are identical, with the first one by team (should work for Season 1) and the second one by user (assuming ppl will switch teams within the first few seasons).

If everyone is cool with that general model, here are the other things I can think of that we need to get ironed out. Is there a way to embed a poll to have everyone vote on their preference? Maybe people can just quote this and add their "vote"?

  • Once a week (e.g. each Monday) or

I prefer All-American because I think these things are more fun as a grind (and more realistic). I'd rather it take a season or two before we're challenging for conference championships, and several seasons before we're leading P4 teams deep into the playoffs, but that's just my opinion. If people would have more fun with immediate success I get that too.

Agree, I’d like to be HC

FWIW, you can still control the whole team (both on the field and in recruiting) as a coordinator. I believe the only difference is the job offers you'll get. For example, an OC at ND might get a job offer for say... HC of Troy 👀... whereas the HC at ND is probably only getting offered to be the HC of other big programs

Edit: You also control hiring/firing other coaches as the HC. You're basically along for the ride as a coordinator

NEW JOBS: This is new for me. I've played some dynasty. I imagine the job part and the recruiting part are going to be a learning curve. But is the point to get hired to bigger jobs, getting better teams, so you have a better roster?

Yeah, sorry for not mentioning that when I tested it earlier. The way around it is to split the conference into 2 divisions, put all of the user teams into the same division, then schedule 6 conference games so that you will definitely have all users within the same conference play each other. (You can then add a 7th “conference” game to the schedule if you want)

You can also make it so the two teams with the best conference record play for the conference title so we could still get user v user conference title games even though they come from the same “division”

Maybe we just let it ride this way and see how it works. 8 OOC games seems like it should be enough for us to schedule however many human matchups we need.
