Sorry I was so late to the party, but at this point after catching up, I am not sure that I shouldn't be humbly asking for your prayers.

Here is the one I say:

METHA

May I be filled with loving kindness;
May I be healthy and strong;
May I be free of all dangers, internal or external.
May I be filled with the ease of well being.
May I be happy!

And of course you can then subsitute anyone else in, including someone you don't particularly care for; that is when the prayer works best!

My condolences man . If it is any consolation, my grandfather has leukemia and keeps breaking bones in his back from the little moving around that he has to do. He has had similar methods (resin, screws and plates...) performed on him and I have a slight understanding of what you may be going through. Although I dont know you, I hope the doctors can get it right for you. Stay strong.

I have actually had a similar surgery to yours, though not as severe, with no bad results and no hardware to show for it, (only one level, in two seperate places.)
