Possibly part of it but theyre playing the #11 team in the country at home, should be able to get up for that game. MSU has looked bad in 2 out of 3 games, theyre not very good. Any competent team is going to excel against BVG defense.

It's looking like both of ND's losses to date are going to look pretty bad by the end of the season. The Texas d is terrible and Michigan State is mediocre on both sides of the ball.

Pretty much every ND did last week, Wisconsin is doing the complete opposite.

ND couldn't stay on the field on offense, Wisconsin is controlling the ball.

ND couldn't sustain any momentum defensively, Wisconsin keeps piling on the pressure.

ND couldn't get out of it's own way in all three phases, Wisconsin is playing about as sound as you can get.

Night and freakin' day.

Yes, but State didn't do much wrong last week. They aren't doing much right this week. So not playing the same. QB can't put it in the right place, no Bullough, fumbles, INTs, running into the kicker,etc...not all of that is strictly Wiscy.

I picked us to win big against MSU on account of them being terrible and today is proof that they ARE IN FACT TERRIBLE... We're just worse than terrible. Crazy how badly our defense cost us against two mediocre opponents.

I tried to give Mich St and Dantonio the benefit of the doubt and thought they may turn out to be a good team.

Today proves that the Furman game was a real indication of how bad Mich St is and the Notre Dame game was an aberration.

Sucks for us fans. I still have hope they can come together and figure out a better defense approach but that belief is slowly fading.

Yeah it's a major bummer. The only way Ohio State doesn't completely destroy Michigan State is if they literally don't show up. I saw a film breakdown of the d on the State play that I believe iced the game on one site (can't remember the name) by that fella Lars who does a great job. It was mind numbing how bad the scheme (blitz from way off the edge that doesnt get home due to distance while dropping two d lineman into coverage who are clearly uncomfortable doing so) and fundamentals (two missed tackles and multiple players playing conflicting coverage techniques) were on that single play alone. It's just beating a dead horse at this point I suppose.
