Hell a lot of professional baseball pitchers would barely qualify as athletes. Have you seen some of these big boys? lol

In my opinion, you may qualify as an athlete as a driver, but it sure as heck doesn't mean you're one of the better athletes in the world because of how well you drive.

True athleticism at it's finest I think you usually find in Track & Field, Football, and Basketball.

HEY!! CC was an all-american TE in high school and got multiple scholarship offers. He actually signed a LOI to play for Hawaii.

He's 100% right and there is no way to argue it. Golden said that he wasn't saying it wasn't hard, just that they aren't athletes. Racing is as much of a sport as bass fishing, chess, and poker. All are hard and it takes skill to be the best, but they aren't sports.

While I'm not completely sure NASCAR drivers are athletes, this is probably the worst arguement I have ever seen. That's like saying; oh, NBA players aren't athletes because I play in a rec league and I'm not an athlete. Come on man :)

Well just because my father or his friends race at a local track doesnt mean their not as good as the drivers in NASCAR. The biggest part of becoming a NASCAR driver is to know someone who has money its not all about if your the best driver or not. Its about who you know. Many of the drivers that win all the time at a local track are usually the guys with the biggest trailers and the best equipment. Dont get me wrong there are some drivers who come from nothing who get found by NASCAR team owners and become NASCAR drivers. However, alot of it has to do with WHO you know. There is plenty of talent at small tracks throughout the country who have the ability to race just as good as most of NASCAR drivers. So maybe you instead of calling my last post the WORST argument youve ever seen, you should instead ask me more about what I meant in my post and not call me out. CMON MAN.

Okay, no reason even discussing with you if you think your dad or his friends could hang in a NASCAR race. :)

I think CC is great. But at the moment, I'd struggle to consider him a top notch athlete. lol

Man we should have won that game. Ended up getting the ball back with like 3 mins left and we were moving it well down the field and then we got that stupid 15 yard penalty (I forgot what for) and it completely deflated our tires

What I always loved was how he seldom got taken to the ground. Guy was a beast. Was our best running back on the roster at some points of his career.

Golden is Thy Tate and I agree!!

I don't know where this ranks in GOATed moments in ND history, what Will Fuller did to this Virginia fan:

This is up there for me, too. With the emotions coming off of Zaire getting hurt, that Kizer/Fuller connection was clutch. This was so close to being a special, special season in '15 if not for the complete ineptitude by BVG....
