Not every post in every thread has to be about Ludwig.

Josh McDaniels is available
I hope this isn't serious. Italics, font, something needed here. Please.

Yeah, I think it's time people move the f*ck on. We're far past that point anyway. Clemson on the road in a couple of days. I suppose if people are still beating the dead horse that is Ludwig in November, there is likely no saving them.

Bumping because I still don't understand how this guy isn't getting any of the blame.
It was his guy that regressed, especially in big games.
And now we're losing legit players (Tyree and Rico) because the WR room is being blamed for inadequate QB play and bad play calling.

If HCMF wanted to fire all of the offensive staff except McCullough, I’d be okay with it. Was disappointed in Rudolph, Gino, and Stuckey equally. Obviously Parker deserves most of the blame, but the experienced offensive players regressing and failing to execute has a ton to do with their position coaches imo.

And everyone is taking the blame for Freeman's boy Parker.

Parker was the problem when he was hired, before the season, during the season and now after the season.

I guess I haven't seen anyone else get fired other then Stuckey. So not entirely sure who else is getting the blame.
Either way, if they gave me a vote, my vote is Gino/Hartman.

Our rb’s blocked for shit. There’s always gonna be areas of concern in a position group. Are they growing is what matters.

ISD made a good point that while Hartman might have been lackluster in some points that admittedly Angeli looked pretty good in his limited appearances and its those young guys who would stand to learn the most.

Sam's a bit of an old dog...

I seriously wonder whether ND backed itself into a corner on offensive philosophy when they recruited Hartman to ND. If they sold him on developing for the NFL by adopting a pro style offense then the lack of RPOs and complete absence of QB runs are more explicable.

And if they did I hope it's not repeated.

Geez you guys are like a dog with a new bone. You just gotta keep gnawing that shit into pieces.

You guys get it in your mind that a coach hired someone he had previously worked with and everything is viewed through that prism. You think Freeman is seriously 'looking out for his friend' over his own kids? He's making a decision you don't agree with but it's not because he's putting friendship above winning.

For Fuck's sake, get a grip.

Man, you've got to be capable of more depth. I've seen you post on here for a long time.

You're saying Freeman is so wealthy now, he values his friendship with Parker above winning, stable employment, being the man he aspires to be, the legacy he leaves for his family, etc? Coaches are, by their nature, driven by competition and internal standards. He's shown a willingness to move on from coaches as soon as he thinks it's best, good or bad.

But in this instance, you believe his loyalty to his friend is the primary criteria in keeping Parker on as OC. Maybe Freeman has a much stronger understanding of what happened this season and why it happened. And it appears he believes Parker is capable of taking ND where they aspire. None of us has to agree with Freeman's belief in Parker but to post such snide bullshit in a 'bad faith' argument is exhausting.

You are right we can each have our own opinion. And I do think Freeman is stubborn enough to do this for his buddy.

We can agree to disagree. Hopefully you are right I would gladly own up to being wrong.

Called a very good game. Not a perfect game, but a very good game. Even without taking circumstances into account.

I like the offensive room going into this season. I like Denbrock as the eye in the sky with Gino on the sidelines.

Other than the link below (and, consider the source…), I have not heard or read Gino’s name being mentioned in any capacity (either for OC or a QB / passing game coordinator role).
