"In reality I always knew TCU was a great fit, but I was eager to get out to a South Bend to see if I could change the precedent of the wideout room there and be something that University has never had before," he said. "The changing of our strength coach and OC hindered my development and I wasn’t able to grow at the rate I needed to."
Ouch!

This is a bad look for ND. You do not often hear a kid literally say a coach hindered their development. Ouch!

I thought it was mentioned on one of the pods that he could never grasp the playbook
How hard is it to grasp this?

Meh I'm all for Parker criticism and want him gone, but this just seems like sour grapes to me. A god damn lax player walk on produced. Rico produced. Greathouse (when healthy) produced. Chris Tyree who was a RB for his first 3 years at ND produced.

He was at the end from the jump....? Of course you're going to have excuses, especially when others in your class are producing and you're not sniffing field

I want to take this at face value but --

"I was eager to get out to a South Bend to see if I could change the precedent of the wideout room there and be something that University has never had before"

...is batshit crazy considering how many NFL wide receivers ND has had... including one in the hall of fame.

But how many mumble rappers has that room seen? Wake the echoes indeed...

I just can't believe a serious program (or at least one pretending to be serious) has Parker still employed as its OC.

Sent from my Pixel 8 Pro using Tapatalk
you probably have to extend that to Freeman then as he is the one who has hired him and retained him.

So, at a school that had Will Fuller, Tim Brown, Jeff Samardzija, Michael Floyd, etc, he is claiming he has the potential to be something "we've never had," but is gaslighting coaches for not reaching his otherworldly potential. Meanwhile, two recruits in his same class, both rated lower than him, shined this year. Got it.

I'm not in the business of knocking a young man for looking out for himself but man, that's bitter. Nothing like burning bridges...

He's probably just regurgitating the sales pitch he received from ND.

Maybe. If that's the case, between this and "Dante Moore is going to change the game," maybe the staff needs to cool their jets a tad, lol.

Either way, it's common sense to leave most places as amicably as possible. This ain't it.

Did anyone see James talking to Phil J. after the Pitt game? He must have been getting pointers on how to leave the program.

Gerad Parker may be headed to Troy as HC per a poster on II. If Troy is reading this, he’s highly recommended and will do great. Very innovative mind.

Edit: the poster is VERY reliable
I second this recommendation...his avoidance of using PA is very innovative
