ND had rel 12 drives before garbage time. Only one of them moved the ball 30+ yards. That is Iowa level bad offense.
Did Greathouse ever see the field? He didn’t record any stats.

The other Jaden recorded 2 receptions but was a non-factor and looked to be gimpy after one of his catches.

ND should just run 14 personnel at this point. Thanks Del!

We have Gino as qb coach. He did wonders for the Cinci qb
Too early to worry about 2024 but I agree anything can happen. I just think Rees burned MF when he didn’t dip into the portal in 2022. With a new OC, I’d be ok w/ Angeli/Minchey. With Parker? Not so much.

Freeman said they jointly agreed they didn't need a transfer in 2022. Rees delivered Hartman, Minchey, Carr after. I hope Carr doesn't reconsider.

Swarbrick is a highly accomplished attorney, no?

WTF made him believe a first time HC was fine w/ a first time OC (I don’t care about his OC time at WVU…that was worthless)?

MF & Parker are boys so I know it will be hard to cut ties but if MF doesn’t want to get shit canned, he better get a veteran OC. It doesn’t have to be Joe Brady. Just get someone who knows the proper call when they have the talent advantage.

Jack isn’t very smart or he knew he was out and said F it

If someone can give me a coach who did less with more than Parker, please post it up.

We have the ACCs all time leading passer, behind a mostly experienced OL, the nation's top RB with a couple young, explosive threats and 2-3 TEs that might be playing on Sunday.

He is incapable of producing. I'm done trying to make excuses or find reasons why he'll figure it out. This should be a 1 year tryout and he failed. Look forward to another "national search".

Parker could be fired after the last two weeks. So naturally I expect him to be back as offensive coordinator for Notre dame next year…

The book is clearly out on Parker and Irish. Duke and Louisville essentially defended ND the same way to great success...Eliminate the run at all cost and force the Irish to beat you through the air. ND's WRs don't appear capable (nor do I think Hartman trust them) at the moment and Parker seems to lack creativity.

I thought Parker and Golden deserved to be fired after the OSU game. Golden can stay now, Parker proving me right.

You can make up for talent at WR if you have creativity in your play designs or your play calling ability. GP has neither.

The only adjustment he made was targeting Faison when Flores got hurt. It worked. They then reverted back to Flores. Faison wasn’t seen again.

Does that mean Faison is more talented than Flores? No. It means GP adjusted to Louisville who wouldn’t know how to cover Faison because there’s no film on him. The only balls to Flores seem to be mid-range go routes. Flores isn’t skilled enough to make adjustments during the throw to come down with it yet GP kept calling it.

And instead of giving Mitchell Evans more targets, he force fed Tyree and Flores to the tune of 5 targets a piece before Evans had his 3rd target.

To make matters worse, instead of feeding the hot hand in Love, they forced Estime to run straight ahead into a stacked box with inexperienced guards. Again, no creativity or rhythm to the play calling.

And when he decided to get creative, it was 3rd and 1 with an obvious running formation and a play that took way too long to develop with an overmatched interior OL.

Great points, but what have you seen that says Flores is more talented than faison?… that’s the best play a wr has made for nd in 3 weeks… he beat man, Flores can’t beat man. Faison is clearly faster and quicker

I’m sure Flores is a better blocker, but that’s not talent

Everyone owes you an apology for attacking you when you said Flores can't separate. Broadcasters are very player friendly and they even said it last night lol.

It's 100% true and has been 100% obvious since he started playing. He's not a field, he can still be a good player if used better

Is there a legitimate solution? I can't imagine an established OC would want to work with Freeman, Good guy, way in over his head. Additionally does Freeman have the authority to fire? I mean, he can't hire who he wants I can't imagine he can fire who he wants. It would be a constant tit for tat if that was the case.

Who would you go after at OC?
I'd hire DMC as interim to see how that goes and be 1st in line as far as openings with plenty of time to make a choice.

DMC likely leaves soon anyway. Either he succeeds and you retain an awesome coach, or he fails and likely doesn't get a great OC offer to pull him away. Were already failing so zero risk.

This is the problem… look how hard it is for freeman to get a good coach because they all know he’s a fraud and has no business being the HC

I'll say this as well...I thought it was very telling when Laurinaitis left. From a coaching perspective maybe not a big lose. But there is something to him leaving, IMO.
