Agreed for sure. He went on a tear after that pick. Has gotten a lot better in the quick passing game, and made a nice sideline throw downfield to Greathouse today as well.

Thought we were in the bend but don’t break D mode. The scoring we give up still shouldn’t be happening. We had some breaks to our way today. Statistically a close game. This offense just stinks in general. Part of that is on Denbrock and plenty of it on Leonard. The running game will open up if Leonard just keeps the ball 1/3 if the time he goes read option. I think Denbrock has brain farts and just seems to forget a whole bunch of plays and seems to just play not to lose or something. Gray is a crappy tackler. Cost us 7 points on his open field whiff. Hope no one got hurt.

D again leading the way.
Moore played super for frosh. Bowen also had good game.
Two fakes were great; always are when they work.
Team just not able to sustain drives when 3rd and 6-8. Afraid that will cost us at some point.
Still not able to go downfield.
Seemed like the commercial time was longer than usual?

I would pin this more on the offense as whole (playcalling and oline play specifically). We went into a lull with the lead and the oline started getting beat on those long 3rd downs + knapp’s hold on Love’s td.

I still want to see more creativity with our route trees. Where are our crossing routes? Have we thrown a seam with Evans yet? A lot of teams are running TE delay routes that are WIDE open. Would love to see that in our offense.

I did like we utilized 2 back sets today and can build on that with motioning love/williams out to the slot form there. Get some great matchups against linebackers that way.

We came down to Indy for Colts-Dolphins and were walking back from the bars—District Tap area. Happy with this W for the most part. This team will go with oline and Leonard. Golden has done fantastic with the defense. Just an ass kicking, physical unit that loves to hit. Literally inflicted pain on GT. Golden is worth every penny of his contract and more.

Evidently last weekend was the most popular weekend to get married & there were a ton of great games. This was my nephew so I told friends/family not to mention ND score & I would look at final score when game was over & watch entire game tomorrow. They’re mostly Arkansas fans so they got to watch Hogs lose to BK after the wedding since they played in primetime.
