Did anyone have the opportunity to watch Bill O'Reilly's reaction to President Obama's Trayvon Martin remarks? O'Reilly criticized Obama for not addressing the "real" problems within the black community. Don Lemon made some statements of his own the other day, saying that not only was O'Reilly right, but that he didn't go far enough in his criticisms of the black community. Thoughts?

Here are O'Reilly's original remarks:

Here is Lemon's segment:

Really Moose, you haven't been paying attention. It's as plains as the antlers on your head:

Some people formulated THEIR verdict pre-trail when the Martin family attorney's PR guy sent out a picture of a cute 12 year old.

Mommy said her baby was good little boy.

Jeantel said he was an angel and "crazy *** cracker" was not a racial slur but a universal term for any man (white, black, or "chinaman"), a mall cop, a wanna be, a pervert, etc.

Zimmerman got out of the car after the operator failed to tell him, "Stay where you are!"

Martin was followed, chased, pursued, and out run by the non-athletic Zimmerman

Martin was racially profiled.

The FBI got it wrong.

Zimmerman broke his own nose with the back of his own head.

The Prosecution threw a slam dunk murder case quicker than Hamilton Burger.

The medical examiner was wrong.

Jonathon Good is really red green color blind.

The woman that heard 3 shots was right.

The judge who the President commended mischarged the jury.

The jury was wrong.

SYG sucks.

Guns should be outlawed.

400 years of suffering.

Somebody has to pay.

41 confused himself with the 41 variations of events he presented as conclusive evidence of guilt.

and ...

Bogs and Al said so.

LOL!! Awesome.

I just checked in to make sure Bogs and GoIrish were still losing. They are.

OReilly "corrected" Obama for saying that more blacks commit violent crimes. Thing is, Obama said the same thing. That happens when one is in a perpetual state of disagreement and not actually listening to what the other person says. We can find the same stuff going on in this thread.

This might be the last place on the internet this case is still being discussed. How much can you talk about one topic before the conversation begins to become circular and repetitive? I enjoy the fact that this community can have intellectual conversation, but I am sick of the George Zimmerman trial... I thought everyone else would be too a few weeks after the verdict

Oh, this thread became circular and repetitive a long ways back, not to mention ever more so argumentative

Am I the only one who finds it a little odd that TM's parents keep doing public appearances together? Wonder how Tracy Martin's fiancée feels about that. haha.

I hope the news conference is to announce their intention not to pursue a civil suit. The quicker this gets wrapped up from all ends, the better.

Seriously....they don't seem to mind the spotlight

Watched Don Lemon's segment. Larry Elder makes such great points and mentions Thomas Sowell who is a factual expert on this, high recommend watching his youtube videos, so much intelligence and rational thought. He has nearly individually (with Milton friendman) rekindled my faith in conservatism.

When I was trying to figure out how Kel Tec PF-9 became Tec-9 in my mind I found this in an article on the PF-9:

There are a few drawback to the PF-9′s size . . .

1. The PF-9 tends to get caught-up in clothing when a shooter tries to remove it in a hurry.

Carrying the gun in a proper holster and practicing drawing it from concealment dramatically reduces the chances of this potential problem. But many people who carry handguns this small and (let’s face it) cheap don’t “invest” in a good holster or spend much time practicing unholstering at the range. Even worse there are a number of people who simply pop one of these in a pocket and carry it that way, which makes getting the gun out and into the fight extremely difficult.

2. Shooting the PF-9 creates considerable recoil: the equal and opposite reaction that occurs when the explosion inside the gun sends the bullet forwards.

The smaller the gun, the harder it is to control the recoil for follow-up shots. Recoil can also be painful; reducing the chances that the PF-9′s owner will practice shooting their gun.

3. Small guns are more likely to malfunction than their bigger brothers.

A shooter has to grip a gun like the PF-9 properly for the firearm to cycle (eject a spent cartridge and load another bullet). Smaller guns are harder to grip than bigger guns. And small guns can be ammo sensitive; failing to feed or fire or eject certain types of ammo.

The Kel Tec PF-9 retails for $333. (Gun stores usually sell the PF-9 for a little under three bills.) A roughly similar Ruger LC9 retails for $443, while a “baby Glock” retails for $438. Again, the Kel Tec has a big advantage in terms of concealability.

In short, the PF-9 is the cheap bastard’s carry piece. Small, concealable and deadly.

Wow maybe the recoil hit him in the nose!
