Ha...Just saw the chatter in the price thread where I thought I was posting....My bad, but again...Are these "He's not coming back" anything more than a fans perspective?
Kiper has him as the #3 rb draft prospect. He’ll likely be a 2nd round pick with guaranteed $6-10 million. He’s already had a serious injury. He’ll be 1 year further away from a second contract. All huge reasons not to come back.

We do have A Williams, N. James, K. Young and two stud freshmen who are going to be hungry for snaps. I think it's far healthier to expect both of our studs will be gone after this year.

Man, I think Gibbs is the best back in football and one of the smoothest athletes I've seen in a long, long time. That's some seriously high praise.
hes seriously under utilized in the Lions offense too. If he was in Miami doing the Achane role for the Dolphins he would be MVP

They have so many mouths to feed in that offense, plus they probably like to keep him fresh for the season long grind.

ASB, Laporta, Gummy. Heck, they just paid Jamo and barely utilize him. Really good skill all around Goff.

So who surprises us by coming back next year?
Citing an unused year of eligibility and the NCAA allowing NBA G League professionals to play college ball, 37-year-old Golden Tate decides to return for the sake of NIL, chicks, and a chance to torment MSU's band. The NCAA is too cowardly to challenge him on it.

We lead the nation with 16 INT pretty crazy considering we could of had 10-12 more we dropped.

Best defensive backfield in the country (bragging that I thought so a long time ago ... but so did a bunch of people -- usually not commenting on IE.)

If nickel gets figured out I'd agree but right now I'm still concerned with Smith in there and Golden is still learning

Any ideas on the 2 TBD teams are on next year's home schedule? I thought Clemson was one, but apparently not official? Just got season ticket renewal...no price increase. $1500 "Membership" fee is more than my 2 Upper Deck tickets that total $900.

Only 5 home games on campus next season.

Sounds like best case scenario is a Mac-level team being added to the home slate and the possibility of a neutral site game with USC being worked out. For you season ticket holders, that's got to feel like a kick straight to the giblets.

No kidding. Especially charging the same amount. Stop the Shamrock Series if it’s going to put ND at this kind of disadvantage. I know it was delayed due to COVID but the Wisconsin game at Lambeau Field is considered an ND home game. May be fun for fans & media but doesn’t help the players any.

We better not move the USC game to neutral site every year…

Yeah old man rant, but $1,200 for one ticket to sit in the very top row in an endzone is ridiculous. Plus I drive 6+ hours to do it. I love ND and don't mind doing it for schedules like this year, but that pathetic ass schedule next year, especially at home and wanting to charge that much has me thinking on passing for next year.

My main reason for getting them was the thought of a home playoff game. But now that we can get a bye... and if ND doesn't get a bye with that weak ass schedule next year... I can't justify that.
