Don't think this affects the Athletics department, but all these proposed and implement budget cuts and tax increases coming from the current administration appear to be having an affect on the University's hiring plans. Notre Dame announces hiring freeze ‘effective immediately’
Are they still requiring the Covid jab to attend and work there? Maybe that hurt recruiting a little over the years I wouldn’t put the crap in my body.

Looking at that schedule: I don't want to read anybody talking like that's in ANY way "soft." Six games in the ACC, two in the B1G, two in the SEC, Navy, and for our open date "cupcake": Boise!. OK Purdue, Purdue, Purdue --- but that's still a B1G team, and good players are on it, and B1Gs CAN get better in surprising ways so we don't even know if THAT is a cupcake.

I don't believe that many people know how hard it is to keep getting up for every @#$# bunch of knuckleheads who have decided that they want to tear your butt off the one chance they have to do it. This isn't Play-off Murderer's Row, fine, but it is a LONG set of pretty damm high quality teams who will keep coming at us foaming at the mouth. That's hard.

It’s a decent schedule, but I’m not about to puff my chest out and act like it’s one of the more challenging schedules. The backend of the schedule is pretty weak.

My extended family and I always target the peacock game to attend; just not a good viewing experience from home. It has booted us from the stream several times over the years.

Nothing like a 4th and 2 or a goal line situation and you're on the edge of your seat...."We're sorry, your stream is experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later."

ETA: I'm not a hater of the Peacock app in general, as I use it religiously for its amazing sitcoms (The Office, Parks and Rec, Modern Family, Superstore, to name a few of my faves) but its streaming capabilities for something as high volume as ND football has been questionable, at best. Not to mention Pete Sampson has actually admitted he has to slow down his live-tweeting to accommodate how far behind the lag is with the app's stream, even compared to other streaming services like YTTV.

I’ve had the same issue when trying to stream 4K live content on the Peacock platform…….starts to judder/stutter when I’m quite sure it’s not related to any of the settings on the television/A/V equipment nor internet/wifi speeds.

A lot of issues I've seen with peacock are because of crappy streaming devices or using the app on the Smart TVs. I switched to Apple TVs and the higher priced Amazon sticks and haven't had any issues since

I only have issues with the 4K live stream on Peacock (obviously, not all live events are in 4K)…….I use a FireTV Cube (newest gen) and have fiber speeds around 600 MB. My primary TV is a Samsung 4K with 120 refresh rate which should handle the live action without an issue. Any suggestions? I’ve tried all the Amazon diagnostics as well as adjusting various display settings on the TV. I haven’t watched a 4K event on Peacock since the Super Bowl and I ended up going to NBC instead and watching in 1080p.

My issue with Peacock is their lack of good content

Depends, I’m an annual subscription for like $12 right now so I would say it’s maybe the best service I have for the price. Some of their new series are good (not Apple TV/HBO level). Decent movie selection like Oppenheimer I think was on their first. Big Ten and Big East deals now. I think at that, it’s easily worth the price. If you like the EPL it becomes a very good service.

That gets trickier. I'm assuming your speed tests from the firecube show expected speeds? You're router isn't tucked away in an entertainment center somewhere is it? I've seen way too many people try to hide it, because it's an eye sore, but having it out in the open truly makes a huge difference. Other question would be is are you connected to the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz network? Or Wi-Fi 6 if that's available?

I have my cube hardwired to that particular router so there should be no signal issue. From what I have read 4K requires around 25MB and the cube is capped at about 120MB so there should be plenty of bandwidth. Have you tried any 4K live content on Peacock? It‘s only the live content that I have a problem with……if it is a series, movies, etc……no issue.

I’ve only had one (1) streaming issue with Peacock in three years…

And it was the connection blacking out and rebooting WHILE THE BALL WAS IN THE AIR during BenMo’s pick-6 against Clemson.

Missed one of the most hype plays in a looooong time as my one Peacock complaint lol
