I need to get over my claustrophobia. I will assist. All are welcome!! The smoker, griddle and now pizza oven run 24 hours a day. Only catch is you have to help finish digging my tunnel.
Will be staying in Chicago USC weekend. Would like to get to campus Saturday morning or early afternoon.
Has anyone taken one of them fan bus things from Chicago? Would prefer to not drive ourselves
That’s awesome. It was those types of memories as a kid that have made me an Irish lifer!!We arrived on Wednesday and it has been a blast. From the stadium tour, to just walking around and looking at all the facilities and taking the kids to the book store was awesome.
My daughter loves volleyball so we went to that game tonight, it was fun and entertaining and the beat Virginia 3-0. My son loves baseball and plays all year round so we are going to go to the fall ball game they are playing on Sunday. We are making all the stops this trip.
If your kids are up for it tonight, midnight drummer's circle (in front of Main Building) is a great time as well.We arrived on Wednesday and it has been a blast. From the stadium tour, to just walking around and looking at all the facilities and taking the kids to the book store was awesome.

Boise fan's experience at ND
Great energy, seemed to really enjoy the experience despite the loss. Loved his outlook on life and giving thanks to God.
Don't park in White Field though, he screwed up there. The lines for those buses are too long! You're almost better off walking to your car unless you're there early. Better to pay $25ish to park in someone's yard east of campus or use the ParkWhiz app.
That's not bad, but you can park in some yards off Edison or Bulla which are just as far and probably cheaper. I parked at Ascent Hospice on Edison last game I went to using ParkWhiz, same distance and it was $25. They even drove me to campus (Just had to walk back...may have stopped in the Backer for a beverage). We parked at Holy Cross and walked to the car after the game is was so easy. Plus you got to talk to other Irish fans. Once we got in the vehicle we were out of there in no time. It was 40$ but it was painless and the troopers did a great job with the traffic.
I took the family to Fiddler’s Hearth on a Friday night & there was live music. But…that was back in 2012.Kind of a specific question.
I’m coming in for the Navy game this Thursday. I want to take my daughter, son in law, and grandson to Fiddler’s Hearth downtown for dinner. The son in law is a big fan of scotches and Irish whiskey, and Rohr’s turns into a shit show…
- Is one night on game weekends substantially better than the others (Thursday vs Friday)?
- Do they have live music on Thursday and Friday?
- Friday, I can only get a reservation at 6:30 for 3….do you think they’d care or would it be that big of a deal to make it for 3 and show up with 4 (my grandson is 5)? Thursday looks wide open..should I opt for it instead?
They have had music on Fridays this year before home games..haven't seen anything for this Friday. Give them a callKind of a specific question.

They haven’t done as much live music this year as they have done in the past. They ran it as open mic night most of the time.Kind of a specific question.

With mobility issues, does she have a handicap parking tag? If so, you should be able to purchase a parking pass for the Bulla lot near the library. In the grand scheme of things, it may not be that much closer than parking near the Backer, but you would be much more likely to see a courtesy cart doing runs between that lot and the rest of campus.Question for the group. I have been to ND 3 times and have always parked at a real estate building over my the Linebacker. I think it is about a mile from campus. This year, we are going to SU and bringing my wife who may have some mobility issues with that walk from there to the stadium and then back at the end of the game. Is there better parking somewhere, that isn't an arm and leg? I have looked at the maps of campus parking and I can't really get the picture of it in my head, since I have only parked in one spot. Thanks!

Backtrack to Middlebury and eat at the Essenhaus. Consume as much Bacon, Mush and Head Cheese as humanly possible and hit on Amish women. Should mix well with lots of alcohol later in the day.Staying in Elkhart on Friday/Saturday. Fortunately, we have a DD in the group.
Give me some answers for my burning questions:
1. Best parking situation
2. Best Guinness in town
3. Good breakfast/brunch that wont be too swamped. Would like to get the food out of the way before hitting bars.
