My sister and her husband are heading to Myrtle Beach, SC this weekend, and last night she posted this pic of a gift shop there. At first glance, especially if you're viewing the pic on a phone, it looks like it says Paradix. I told my brother that it sounded like a great name for a gay bar, which led to him telling me (in his best country bumpkin/Jethro Bodine voice for effect), "Yeah, I was in Myrtle Beach this one time and was hungry and saw this place, Paradix, and the sign said 'Come Inside - All You Can Eat!' and I thought, a good buffet was a-jest what I was lookin' for so I went in, 'cept I couldn't find no buffet. I couldn't even find a waitress. Heck, there wasn't even no women at all in there... just a bunch of cops and construction workers and bikers and such and a bunch of 'em was dancin' with each other. Wasn't no food, but ever'body was jest friendly as hell to me!"

My reply was, "JFC, I wish Mom had left you in the woods for the wolves to eat 47 years ago." My brother and I spend an inordinate amount of time trying to make the other laugh and yell, "FFS, take me out of your contacts list and stop calling me!" :)

The amusing flip side of that is when some obnoxious protester runs up to someone filming her (it's always a she/her) and starts screaming that they can't film the protest. Yes, they can in fact film you acting like lunatics in a public place.
