They're just sounding completely defeated now. They're at the level of frustration we were last year after the Tulsa loss. They accepted that they're not as good as they imagined and are ready to move on to next season.

It's like that around here as well. All of the Miss State fans were talking SEC championship & now completely deflated. It's not even as much fun making fun of 11 of the 12 schools for their lack of academics. I said not as much, but I still love to hear an SEC player try to speak intelligently to the media. It's like on the movie Super Troopers when the cop says meow asanh times as he can while pulling over a motorist, except SEC players use uh. We uh wentout and uh tried to uh play our uh game. Hahaha. Always a good time, but now State fans look like they could cry.

I thought you ment a year that we've had a few of our top prospects leave. Dont think weve had anything like whats going on at FSU atleast recently. In your case I can think of many.

I have been so bummed so often when we lose a few fish.

I will admit, our BIG fish with Kelly have stayed recently.

With Weis, we lost a few.

With Weis, we never had a shot with a few.

With Kelly, the top talent seems attainable, although we did score Teo with Weis. (And Crist, and Clausen, and Cierre, and Rudolph) We hurt defensively.

But I want the best of the best, just like old times.

Or as the poster put it earlier when I was lurking: like the foot fungus or the Yankees, we will be back again...

Don't you want the best of all?

Yeah philly, being 15, these are times when it's better you either ask questions are keep the mouth closed instead of making definitive statements like that one, which makes you look like you have no idea about ND football. We've had some really, really bad losses...

Look what Weis did after making it to 2 BCS bowls in a row. That 2008 class was ranked #2 on scout behind Bama who signed 32, and again #2 on rivals basically only because Bama took 32.

We did that with Weis. How Good will it be under Kelly? Makes me Giddy thinking about it.

I to feel the top 10 players in the country seem always to be out of reach and go to USC, Bama, UF, teams that win.

When we win we have a shot at anyone in the country.

I feel bad for Miss St, and to a lesser degree, for FSU. A lesser degree for FSU because they were way overrated to start. However, we know exactly how it feels to come crashing down to earth. Though Lord knows I would be giggling like a schoolgirl and skipping around if something similar happened to scUM.

According to the boys over at TheUnconquered (24/7) Edwards is an OU lean, though he has not decommitted from FSU as of right now. Winston has gone dark, and Casher is still a solid commit.

Pender did take an official at WVU, apparently he has some relationship with Noel Divine, but they believe that he is still a FSU EE.

The overall feel of the forum is not quite the panic of trying to put out a burning building, but they are one loss away from a full-blown heart attack.

My best friend here is a HUUUUGE FSU fan and about ready to jump off a cliff (Luckly there are no cliffs in this flat a$$ state). He said jibberish in the last 2 days like: "he thinks all these 5* recruits are BS, and obviously dont mean anything" "He hopes they just loose out and not get to a bowl!" and also the craziest of them all "the refs always screw FSU and I hate college football cause all the refs are so corrupt!" I think he has lost his mind and I do think its a little funny because he did say to me at the beginning of the year how happy he was with recruiting class and that he was so happy FSU was "back"....oh and yeah that ND was overrated and he still thought we sucked worse than his Noles!
