I never jumped... I just couldn't take the pain from that loss and bring my whining optimism on the board since the team hadnt backed it up. Now I can post though since my optimism appears to finally have come to fruition.

My deal is that if you're going to post that you're giving up, at least give a post/thread that you're back on the bandwagon now.

Emotional, immediate post game posts are a horrible idea.

I'm not so angry about people for jumping overboard after the Michigan loss, some of them might get a lot of crap from scUM fans on a regular basis and were very emotional after losing for a 3rd time (like me). They may have said they were done, but I guarantee they had to watch.
What really pissed me off were people calling for BK to be fired two games into his second season. That was truly stupid.

Funny part is how many of you all crapped your pants when Goodman fumbled the punt that set them up in red zone again.

Don't say they are back. Don't say I told you so. They won! GREAT! Its a awesome day when the Irish win. But they did almost exactly what they did last week when they opened the door for a comeback. Difference this week was that Mich St. didnt capitolize, AND the defense DID NOT collapse.

I am as happy as everyone that the Irish won the game, but for anybody to claim "their back" needs to step back and a look at what we really have. This should be a 3-0, top ten team, but instead they are 1-2 and just won a BIG game that hopefully turns the season around.

They definitely need to clean up many mistakes. But there was an incredible amount of promise. Lynch was a monster, getting pressure on cousins every time. And Blanton truly rose to the call. He gets the game ball in my opinion. Also, Turk should only rugby punt. His last one was beautiful.

I always knew we had the talent is whar about not having a meltdown. People are right we could/should be a 3-0 team. This was a great win for the Irish, and it should springboard going forward. BUT, we need to limit those mistakes, still had too many. The defense was amazing.

It's not to say this Irish team isn't without some shortcomings...but you don't throw in the towel on your team. EVER.

I just hope those guys that ripped their ND stuff off the walls and burned their ND jerseys managed to tune in today.

Goonies never say die.

I got this feeling in the pit of my stomach where I thought they were going to find some way to give it away again. Had that happened, I would have probably ended up in jail, or in the hospital with a coronary. My house would have been destroyed along with all of my possessions.
