I understand where you're coming from. I never understood sacking Pochettino, but that's from an outsider looking in. I know the year they lost the Champions League final they went all in on that competition and dropped a lot of points in the league along the way to finish fourth. They have not been back in the top four since, and Covid hit in time for no fans in the stands in their new stadium.

Canadian soccer has been a blackhole of interest for me - what would the NCAAF equivalent be? I've always considered them to be like the Middle Tennessee of international soccer.

He has a mighty task on his hands right now. That locker room is a team full of prima donnas and if he loses them they're going to get relegated. They have talent, and some expensive talent at that, but if the attitude is shit they're going down unless Norwich, Burnley and Watford are just that bad. Everton has the fourth most difficult remaining schedule left.

Seeing them get relegated with Lampard as manager would give me a good amount of joy, depending on how Liverpool's season finishes.

Alli won't help them. He's not a winner. Shit attitude. I really would have considered taking a flyer on him and figured Klopp could have a good effect on the kid, but at this point, I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

I am looking forward to a motivated Mane and angry Salah with a fully fit squad going into spring for Liverpool. Still all to play for. Need a win tomorrow against Leicester to keep pace. Keep the young kids coming along, too. Get some contracts sorted out.
