Technically he was purchased in the summer but didn’t arrive in Manchester until January. I’m thinking Rashford will have surgery after the Euros and either Greenwood or Sancho will start the season on the left. At that point Amad will be the backup RW.

Rashford needs to have surgery, or whatever it will take him to get better. Guy's been playing injured for too long.

This gives us some flexibility, with only Cavani not able to play the wings.

Varane to United sounds very promising right now also, which might be an issue with Varane (allegedly) agreeing with Pavard on his criticism of Pogba.

Looks like Achraf Hakimi to PSG for around $85 million. Sergio Ramos is probably next. Maybe one of those Ligue un players will give him a taste of his own medicine.

The Super League was their last gasp attempt to survive. They're screwed.

Messi's public relations team might be more talented than the man himself. So much talk about greed in football, and his name doesn't come up much when those conversations happen.

Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but has his name popped up in the transfer stuff yet? I know he's still in Copa and that always slows things down, but he was being linked to City pretty heavily a while back but haven't heard anything since.

If you beleive this then its a new contract for 10 years $290million. 2 more years at Barca, 2 years at InterMiami and 6 years in an undisclosed off field role. lol.

I hate watching Spain. Need a quick Italy goal this second half to open the game up a bit.

Spain have looked pretty good offensively, especially in the first half. Just couldn't finish to save their lives. Their defense seems to be a bit disorganized or Simon is just coming out when he shouldn't, or both.

The fact that Donnarumma has played 30+ games and hasn't given up more than one goal is extremely impressive.

I think he's very overrated. He's been lucky countless times in this tournament. His positioning in some cases has been pretty awful. I know he's still young, but I'm not drinking the kool aid here just yet. The Italian back four has been very good.

Spain played the best they have played the entire tournament and went out on PK. Cruel. That being said, this Italy team is tougher than a weekend with my mother in law.

Speaking of goalkeepers, Jordan Pickford has a fuck up coming. I can sense it.

I think it's more of a testament to the Italian defense also. When I've seen Donnarumma play for his club, he hasn't impressed me much. I think he looks better for his country, but it could be because of his defense. Spain looked very good yesterday on 90% of their play... just the finishing was well off. They mishit so many balls it was nuts.

Pickford is well past due for a fuck up. Perhaps a Unai Simon own goal fuck up coming.

At least 2 or 3 times yesterday if you didn't look closely you'd think Sean Johnson or Matt Turner were in goal for Italy with how poor Donnarumma's distribution was.

Donnarumma is a physical marvel. He's 6 foot 5 and pretty agile. I don't know how much instruction he's truly been given because of that, and AC Milan is not the club they once were, and further you have to wonder how challenged he's going to be domestically at PSG. He's not going to see real competition unless he's in Champions League (a competition he's never played in to date). He's a Mino Raiola client on top of it all.

That match was worthy of being a final yesterday. Spain played incredibly well. If they had anything resembling a striker up top they'd be winning this thing.

Jordan Pickford is not a good goalkeeper.

Stars coming together for Denmark perhaps.

Well, looks like the predictions of an Italy vs. England/Germany winner were correct. Hope it's a good one and the Azzurri come out on top

When the West Ham fans with England tattoos complain about non English players diving in the Premier League, let us remember yesterday.

Nearly every game with the exception of a few has been close, entertaining and within the margins. All any neutral can ask for.

I think Italy wins 2-0.

I have decided I'd walk over barefoot over broken glass to have Nicolo Barella at Liverpool in the midfield.

Not sure how reliable, but it's being reported that Liverpool and Atletico are close to a deal for Saul. Would be a great pick up for pool, guy's a stud who is just out of form recently.

Fee seems reasonable for FSG. He turns 27 in November but they are in "win now" mode.

They could use another center mid in the squad and he can play some DM if needed, which considering Fabinho has had injuries in the past is a good thing.

This summer window and the business done therein is going to be massive for the futute of the sport in Europe. Coming off of Covid, if the Manchesters and Chelsea end up spending the money they're rumored to be spending on the players they're rumored to be linked with FSG are going to have to decide how they want to run the team moving forward. The same as they do now or are they going to change course?

Yeah, and, as always, PSG just getting talent and rumors of even more. They already got Hakimi, Wijnaldum, Ramos. Rumored to be the front runner for Donnarumma. Linked to Ronaldo and Pogba.

They must be paying huge money because the French league is just trash.
